Aw man you don't even know! I was a huge Libtard coming out of WVU. SCREAMING liberal and I had been force fed the whole working class, union mentality thing since I was a pup.

For example, I was a member of Amnesty Internationl and regularly attended the General Union of Palestinian Students meetings to hear their "plight".

There were some seeds planted when I worked at US Steel and saw how little everyone worked and how much everyone bitched. What I saw and experienced didn't jive with the stuff I was hearing from my chosen political party.

I won't bore you with it all but it just rolled from there. It took time because (gasp) here is a secret: I voted for Clinton the first time! Can you believe I voted for Clinton!

But after his first few months in office when I pretty much realized he snookered me, that was it. I had been moving that direction but he put me over the edge and of course his conduct in office made it worse.

I understand why people think along liberal lines but I think it appeals to the emotional side versus the logical side. I also understand why people want government more involved or more from government but I think the individual in most cases is stronger and our founding fathers were staunch supports of the individual.

Anyway thats the genesis of my conservative being.

#25 is one I find especially intriguing... Joe McKnight being academically ineligible at USC.

Whats stopping me from stealing meat from Kroger? My ethics duh. I believe in paying for my groceries. If I went into Kroger and said hey I want this meat, here are some ethics for it, I doubt they would let me leave with it. But if I gave them a ten dollar bill and the steak (thats the meat I prefer) cost $7.98 they would let me take it. Oh and give me some money back too. See I don't live in Fantasy Land. Where I live life takes money to survive.
