You just named a possible nine spots at juco lol but say you think 1-2. Expect close to double digits. We need juco help on both o and d line. Linebacker. They'd gladly take a couple juco corners since we only have SIX scholly corners and only had four until a safety moved over and a transfer case back. Wide receiver. And a juco qb would be nice. The hs class isn't doing it. Richardson is a wr. I know the coaches see the body and athlete but he doesn't have it on D and he doesn't wanna play it. He could be a Jennings wr plus our best wr in this class. This hs class is just not getting it done. Tavis def helps since he's breasted up to 245. Grad transfers and juco. Grantham is extremely underrated since he didn't go to any other camps and Richardson is better than his ratting as well but we haven't gotten a single guy even in the top five in the state smh. It's a joke.

Def right about kpogba. We need him more than almost anyone in this class. It depends on how this season plays out I think. We are definitely wanting more than two corners. Amir Richardson is a WR unfortunately. Martin is definitely, right now Rutgers, and why not when they've shown him much more love. Sad thing is he'd prolly be our best qb recruit this year. Porter has zero chance at staying at corner. Even his dad has said this and if we want him we prolly have to offer Tomlins boy as a package deal. I hope Devonshire is wanting to commit since he's the highest player even remotely interested left on our board. i can't see how anyone would say that this class is coming together well. Been pretty disappointing really. I don't care about ratings that much but damn we should be a top 50 class every year. I know it's a long ways from over but it just hasn't went well. When the season starts I expect close to double digits in juco verbals. Just that type of year. If everything goes as planned this year, next years class should be much better.

Nicktroy Fortune lol what a name. He loves them rolling hills haha. This has to be a first. Maybe that should be our pitch to all the southern boys. We have zero "real" mountains but y'all are gonna love the mountains!

Shouldn't get offered without camping? Smh that's a joke. Different kids, different talent, get treated differently. The rankings don't mean **** to me but as soon as he verbals to osu he'll be ranked higher than them all. Rankings are all about camps. Travis Lee didn't go to any of these outside camps and wasn't rated. Well he verbals and is an automatic three star. At some point ya just gotta watch a kid and tell who is better. This should tell you how serious our coaches are about using them if they are happy with three on the roster. None having ever done a thing. This is the worst instate non offer I've seen in a long time

If we can jump on them early and just get a couple stops, maybe a turnover and then force them to pass we win by more than ten. If they're able to pound the run and not turn it over and eat clock, it's gonna be tough.

We were already going to offer him on defense but he wanted to go offense. If we are serious about a tightend you should probably take one every year. Plus whose to say he's not better than what you brought in the year before? He definitely has the better offers. Totally wrong about Strange. We just don't want to eat crow after he's now been noticed but much bigger schools at te. The d end from Weir prolly should of came and worked out. You saying we only offer the real deal guys is off. We only offer the ones named Wolfly or if other power fives have already taken notice. We should be the first power five school on in state talent. This is the best year ever with an easy ten who could really play there. Not even reach guys. Weir d end has 9 d1 offers and at 6'5" 245 is much more athletic than Donahue. Plus an invited walk on from Michigan for what it's worth. But he doesn't have a power five offer yet. Especially for how this class is this year, not worth a ****, it's insane not to TRY and take advantage of the best instate talent in a very long time. Martin is not comparable to Strange. He had no other p5 offers. While Strange has plenty. It's ridiculous. Plus we just offered a te two weeks ago whojust verballed to pitt a couple days ago. So saying we aren't recruiting te's isn't entirely true. But just because it's not a big need doesn't mean you don't offer the best athlete in the state. If he can't make it at te then they can move him to d like they originally wanted. They met with him weeks before he had the Ohio state, notre dame, Louisville offers. Not only is gibson's defense suck but his instate recruiting is a joke. Ya at least have to offer. If they wanna go to Ohio state, like it looks like the top three players in the state are gonna do, then ok. At least ya tried. We're always late on our own talent. They actually offered the two best sophomores in the state but not until, at least one, already had p5 offers. Most of the talent is in cabell county and they just don't wanna come here. It sucks but that doesn't mean we don't offer em. Oh well. Parkersburg has a history of sending kids to Ohio state. Just another in that line.

No idea why we haven't offered Strange for Parkersburg and Tyler Komorowski from Weir. Both can easily play here smh

How we haven't offered Parkersburg High's Brenton Strange is beyond belief. The coaches say they want to use the tight end and here is a big time kid in our backyard. We should be the first power 5 school to offer instate kids. We should know the most about them but it seems like we rarely offer until the kid already has half a dozen scholarships. The word is he wants to be a mountaineer but we kinda silently offered him on defense. Well supposedly if they offer him for offense hes in. But still he doesn't have an official offer. Then this past weekend he goes up to the Ohio state camp and dominates. Well soon after he has an Ohio State offer. Smh. Everyone else seems to be ok with him at tightend. Hell he would lprobably be our most athletic te. I'm sure during one of the next three prospect camps that wvu will offer him. I'd say it's a guarantee he gets it but hopefully not too late. I understand we just aren't gonna get the big time guys out of kanawha county but the rest we should be all over. Also a three star guard in wheeling we need to offer. If we could of gotten everyone in the state this year, we could have legitimately ten guys in this class out of wv and that's not even taking like a tonkery who was a 185lb white boy. But gained weight and looks good. Hell it would be prolly our highest rated class in the big12 in quite sometime. Anyway we should end up with five wv kids and Brenton Strange should and better be one.

Wrong. Our defense last year was the second worst since Huggins has been here. We had two npoy candidates for defense but still struggled. The team D will be much better. Hopefully with Sags manning the paint. No one with a brain hates him if he leaves, it's just not smart to. While he will never be a lotto pic, he could be a kid to late first rounder. But if he leaves its no were near the poor decision of a devin Williams. Wow still shaking my head over that. All the lenth should help on the defense obviously. I'm sure that'll be in the press since this team is, at least now, lacking on the offensive end and this will help give us easy buckets and we don't shoot it very well. I think the press gives up too many open easy shots. So if we can find a couple capable scorers, id like to see us try a 2/3 like Syracuse. They use it to great affect because of their length and we definitely will have plenty of that. Length will also help on in our man to man D but everything definitely takes a hit without Sags patrolling the paint. I'd like to see him get so more rebounds as well. Matte be a 14 and 10 guy. Even without him tho I don't see how the defense doesn't at least stay as good as last year but offensively is where I'm worried. But I do know what knapper can do and if he can stay healthy and has the green light he could easily be one of outr leading scorers. Love Sags either way. Shows you the rankings after the top ten players or so in a class is a guessing game.

Exactly. No nfl team is going to give him a serious look at 5'9" but his only chance is as a stout nose that can just eat up blockers. He's not athletic enough to be a 4-3 dtackle. Some of these kids need a dose of reality sometimes. He wants to play in a system where he can get double digit sacks and a bunch of tackles lol. He should of just looked up darrien Howard. Who waited til his senior year to start. Was higher rated than him and also got screwed every year with his redshirt getting pulled late. Had sixty some tackles his senior year. Was damn good. Also Gibson was on the radio with caridi and he was asked if he thought Stills having such a great spring had anything to do with mcdougal leaving and he didn't pull any punches. It was a hell yes. I always thought losing shuler was the bigger loss because he had two more years at d end where we just don't have the bodies. Losing Williams late to osu was such a **** downer. Had the most potential of all our dline commits. Older Stills needs to get his weight up to 290-300. Young Stills needs to get to about 265-280. Tavis is up to 245 already. I hope he redshirted but if he keeps getting bigger they'll have a hard time rs him or any of the dlineman. Allen is gonna be a stud too. Just an awful lot to ask of freshman. LB worries me more than corner and prolly the dline too

The offense is prolly good enough to win the big12. Well not probably, they definitely are but we have to see if they've fixed the problem with not scoring for whole quarters. Howard's last year at qb we only went like four quarters without scoring a touchdown and last year with Will we went like 20. Freaking shocking since our O seems so much better. The defense is another question. Losing two, Young at that, starters on the dline was a killer. We can have no injuries. We've already lost a starting linebacker and the guy who probably would of beat him out in the spring. The freshman dlinemen are going to have to come in and give us something. Losing our run stuffing nose tackle plug in the middle and having Tonk at MLB is gonna be tough. We haven't been able to stop the power run. Tennessee will test us majorly here. They're online is for real with maybe the top olineman in the country on their team as a sophomore. I'd be happy with nine wins if it includes a bowl win. Anything above is gravy. In may be time for Gibby to go. Hope not. They could of played the game tho lol it barely snowed. But with two scholarship corners that could of played (from Gibson himself), the four dline, and maybe five lb's it would of been pretty bad

3? Hell we already have three weapons at wide receiver alone that are proven. Not to mention Grier. Simmons would help but we have weapons all over on offense. Wish we had a few more on defense tho lol

Yea saw that. Definitely not one of the bigger time wideouts but I like him and if WANTS to be a mountaineer which I love. Hopefully not one of those mystery guys who can't gain weight lol. We seem to get a few each each year. Not very explosive, good hands, descent speed, gotta get bigger. Can we get a damn middle linebacker lol

We lose Carter so there is no way in hell our guards will be better. Knapper starts. The lack of size is worrisome. McCabe will definitely not redshirt smh just look at our depth. He'll play and if he can make shots he'll play a lot. Doomes is the more likely rs candidate since he is raw as hell but he's not going to either. Where in the hell was Noreen a four star?!?! That's bullshit. The only reason few people thought he may be something is because it was before the days of all these high school highlights and he scored a million points against six foot centers. Some of these comments smh Jesus y'all retarded. And because he can dribble and pass and is white does not make him a good jwill comparison. Way smaller and no where near the athlete or passer yet. Much better shooter than Williams ever was.

He's always been a 3-4 olb. irs his only every down position. Why Seattle tried to fuk with him as a 4-3 olb is beyond me. The only other thing he can do is be a third down 4-3 d end. He's still going to be an olb just with his hand on the ground a Lil more.

When do we ever get "top recruits" lol. He's 6'6" maybe a Lil more and he's long and athletic af. We don't have a guy like him. Raw but if he was willing to work he could be damn good. Yeah it'd be a huge get. He stopped by in vegas and saw a 6'10" kid with roots to wvu

Our dline will never get much pressure. Only rushing three guys you can't blame them. A good middle school qb could throw against a rush three drop eight coverage. Blitzes gotta get home or you get lit up its pretty simple. 3-3 isn't designed to get much pressure but we need to do a better job disguising our blitzes. When at our best we're a bend but don't break D. Maybe get a turnover or holding to a field goal boys. This class was going to be a great one ad Williams stayed. Still good with the ones we got. Guys are going to play a lot more than they were going to with the shuler loss. Huge loss. I'd much rather see Colin Smith working at Sam than exroe. Come on man get that weight up. Pull a tonkery lol. Our whole team needs to see him about how to put on weight. Long, benton, smith, Donahue could all use the tonkery workout regime lol

If Grantham is a linebacker then Richardson if he gains any weight at all should be a linebacker. Not much speed for safety either. Long if healthy is definitely gone. Hope he'll not Colton. Pretty much our whole offense will be gone but the defense should have everyone who really contributes back minus the safeties
