I bet Holgy really ramps it up and shoot for 60+ points this game to shoot up the offensive stat rankings, you know he looks at that. He will also try to get Grier in more Heisman conversations with some gaudy numbers.

If we can generate some pressure on defense we have a shot at being in all of those games, now that we have a playmaker at QB and Simms back in the lineup.

I bet if we get up a couple scores on ECU we will see Tevin Bush back on some punts. I think Jennings is there to not drop it.

We catch some of those 50/50 balls and we win.

If you haven't read this article yet, you absolutely must. Great article about Saban and Jimbo, and the WV ties and roots.

YES! Feed me more positive thoughts. 14 frosh for VT on the 2 deep?? Quote:

Virginia TEch has 14 freshman, in the two deep. Barring turnovers I think WVU should win this game easily. Most of those freshman too, are on offense.

This Season - Which scenario is most likely?

I'm not saying any of these are going to happen, but which one do you think is most likely to me the case?

Scenario 1 - Justin Crawford Goes Off - Last year we saw what he was capable of, but now with a full year of training with Mike Joseph and another year in the offense, he sets WVU rushing records, behind a capable offensive line and excellent blocking receivers. Will Grier is asked to manage games and is surgical in play action. 10-2 record

Scenario 2 - Spavital gets hard watching Will Grier throw darts, and turns to short drops and quick hits. He averages 45 attempts per game, and Crawford gets similar yardage to last year. - 8-4 record

Scenario 3 - The weak front seven gets gashed every week on the ground, causing Dana to get impatient, and Grier has a big year numbers wise trying to play catch up, but in the end WVU suffers in the win column. 7-5 record

I'm worried about the defensive personnel, except the the CBs/Safeties. I like the experience there and big play capability.

Hopefully Gibby can confuse their freshman qb and time the blitzes enough to force some turnovers.

I love this. Maybe Coach Nehlen will grab the turkey gobbler for good luck.

I have confidence if we're having matchup problems at WR that Holgy will mix and match and find the right combo.

I think winning and losing the VT game will come down to Holgy/Spatival in game adjustments. They've had all summer to prep for 3-3-5, I think it will come down to adjusting offensively to Bud Foster. I'd like to see how VT has done the last couple of years against high octane up tempo teams.

Some kids just choose the non reading lifestyle. They should pray the illiteracy away. Others get recruited by non-readers.
