Preach. I was convalescing from a particularly nasty bulg in my bilg when I joined this site, and it inspired my user name. I suppose we're all just fortunate I didn't sign up that time I had shpilkes in my genechtagazoink.

I can't remember what I did with the pen that was in my hand two minutes ago, but I still remember my password for this beautiful, godforsaken wasteland of a message board that's somehow still going after all this time. It almost makes me feel like a young man with fully functional brain cells and the ability to waste a bunch of time at work and yet still keep up with my duties. Carry on, WMITC.

I was in my wood-paneled study perusing leather-bound PMs and basking in the scent of rich mahogany when it occurred to me: PVC "lumber" is the future.

One almost has to admire the tireless dedication to tiresomeness.

Could user contributions be something along the lines of an article entitled "I Found a Live Bat in the Upstairs Bathroom This Morning, and Now Nothing Will Ever Be the Same?" If not, then I guess just make a note that I have nothing to contribute.

It's nice that Mark Schlabach thinks highly of the team's potential, but I'm with Mounty. For now, it's a little too soon to have a Holgasm.

As a cybernetic organism and part time black helicopter pilot for the New World Order, I find the whole birther phenomenon rather pedestrian. It just doesn't hold a candle to some of the stuff I have overheard while flying members of the Trilateral Commission back and forth to secret meetings at Denver International Airport. Why, I could tell stories that would curl even Trump's . . . whatever that is.

1675. That Western civilization has officially hit rock bottom. This Snooki person got paid $32K to speak at Rutgers. Yes, I know - it's Rutgers. But it's still a university for Chrissake.

Is there some other society I can join that eschews things like Snookis and a general obsession with celebrity over merit, but still offers plenty of processed foods and high definition TV? Any suggestions?

Speaking of current events, I've been wondering if the Chinese have a name for the China Syndrome. Maybe it depends on what's on the other side of the world from where one is in China. So, in Bejing maybe they call it the Argentina Syndrome, and in Hong Kong it's the Chile Syndrome. And what do they call it at the Santa Cruz, CA City Council? The perfect pesticide? A California thing that can really work out? Something the machine made for us? East Coast Slaveholders Syndrome?

An oldie but still a goodie.

I never was much to look at, anyway.

I can't believe I remembered my Couch password after all this time. It's the only one I didn't cancel in a fit of pique.

I read somewhere this place was defunct. No, really. Must've been the same place I read what a good hire Pitt made with Haywood.

Edit: You are welcome for my submission.

Edit: You are again welcome for my submission.

Edit: You are again welcome for my submission.

Edit: You're very polite, but no more thanks are necessary.

Edit: Seriously, stop it.

Edit: Now you're just messing with me.

Edit: Screw you. I always hated pop ups.

Hey, the Couch is back from oblivion. And it's ... different.

Anywho, about Whipple. I heard he didn't get the nod because he put too much emphasis on the h.

Edit: You are welcome for my submission.

I sang to the Lord
Let praises be
It's time for dinner
Now let's go eat

We got some beans
And some good corn bread
And I listened to
what the preacher said

Oh, I dunno. I'd think Stew actually is feeling pretty surly today.
