I have had cats all my life and brought dogs into it in 2009.

By and large, labs get along with cats. A dog savvy cat won't be perturbed by any dog. Some dogs are not great with small furry animals though.

I can't imagine life without mine. Meet the puggerazi:

Clockwise from bottom: black pug is Will (Eercrazy met him years ago), Leah, Santiago, Gia, and Parker.

Finley joined our clan this year; he was left in an overnight drop box with a note to kill him since he was 13 and could not walk. The last part was BS...

A simple question. Has Holgs instilled confidence in any of you about having a successful program? My definition of successful, the top 15-20 is a mainstay and occasionally fight for a playoff spot.

He hasn't for me. The team shows lack of toughness. Mostly mentally, and has consistently had a tough time inside the 20. Every game we have lost, with exception to the Bama game, I feel we got bullied. That to me is a bad sign.

Me neither.

In three years (2008-2010) Stew won one big game, then went 28-12 and was run out of town on a rail. Break out the pitchforks and torches...BS is not HC material and the great white hope will save the day and carry us to a BCS championship.

Promising debut, blew out Clemson in major bowl and changed conferences. Then we proceed to lose to some seriously sh!tty teams. Two losses in minor bowls or not bowling at all.

We show promise, then fizzle out. The team is not cohesive. We rely too much on one or two people.

In four years, the great white hype has us at 26-19. We paid for a Ferrari, and we got a kit car Fiero with a balky engine.

In short: No. He is not HC material, either. Finish out the contract, and show him the door.

Problem is the cops say the NFL had the video all along. If this is the case, Goddell will be joining Rice in the gubmint cheese line.

As one guru of crisis communications says (and I tell my clients): Tell the truth, tell it all, tell it yourself.

And from my desk: denial is a very ineffective PR plan.

Congrats to the new owner.

A few of us bandied about with the idea but my own company has taken most of my resources.

Plus I know *$%#-all about programming. If you need PR, then I am your go-to. I also wield a mean banhammer.

He knocked her out, we all knew this but now that there is video evidence of it he gets cut and gets banned from the NFL? What has changed? Just because everyone now has to watch what happened it is all of a sudden worse? He should have been suspended or cut months ago if it were going to happen, not now after this video was released. Did people think it wasn't that bad before this video leaked? The situation looked about as bad as I would have expected it. When I heard the video leaked I figured I was about to watch Ray Rice beat her up like he was Mike Tyson in a boxing match.

What has changed is that the video went viral and made it a PR nightmare for them on a worldwide scale. When it was merely a still picture and a police report it probably did not look as bad.

This is the second company caught in a PR tailspin thanks to an elevator security camera; the CEO of Centerplate got caught beating and kicking his puppy in an elevator and got sent to his room with no X-box....until the video went viral. When Centerplate was staring down the barrel of not being renewed in favor of Aramark and others, the CEO "resigned."

In both of these cases, I think the offender should have been canned long before the video got out. If handled properly from the git-go, the PR nightmare would never have happened.

(Best tweet ever: Take Molly, four game suspension. Knock Molly unconscious and drag her lifeless body across the floor, two game suspension.)

Maybe it already has. No one checked the trunk after his "hazardous driving" incident earlier this year. He blamed the rain. And the Big East.

Same as any other DUI situation.

I admit to partaking almost a few decades ago, and never had the urge to drive anywhere. Neither did my roommates, but we sure kept the Domino's driver busy.

Legalization opens the doors for tax revenue and perhaps tourism...look at Amsterdam. Legal and very little issue with crime. It also unties a big chunk of the military for actual national defense instead of flying drug hunts over South America.

We decided against those hideous gray uniforms.

Our school is not Pedo-Bear approved or under any other sanctions.

We may be down but we are not Pitt.

+1

+2. That is the most optimistic I can get without psychedelics.

As we are today, OU will kill us. TCU will likely clobber us as well.

Iowa State is a spoiler team that can go either way. They lack consistency but pull it out when it counts.

OkState is more inconsistent but also can give a run for the money.

Kansas is the only surefire win I say we have left.

For the old-timers, better late than never. I believe the grand illusion was torn to shreds on around the 16-17th of this month.

Talk about an epic exposure...that has nothing to do with our FB performance.

Well, apparently haters watch shows that they think suck and then complain about how much they suck.

That is like the people who "like" something on Facebook so they can whine about how much it sucks...

(a huge WD and Brasking Bad fan...sorry to see the latter go.)

Oh and Greenville, SC is a hotbed of activity and intellectual pursuits? It sure isn't a hotbed for good football.

Sorry, Clemson, we just scored again.

He led us that day. No better place to get some comfort after a loss of a teammate than at WVU. Stew. The team, and the fans showed some real grace that day.

I actually saw some posts on another site from UConn and Rutgers fans where they recalled how classy Stew was in the aftermath of their tragedies. Why, I've even seen posts from pitt fans who talk about what a nice guy he was. Even his rivals spoke well of him, and that really says something.

UConn’s FB pages talk about how classy Stew and crew were when handling Jazz’ death, and even the ‘Stache had been on talking along the same lines.

It is great to see everyone, even rivals, talk about what a great human being Stew was. I think he would want to be remembered as a good person first and foremost, and instilled this in his players.

Stew was not flashy and would not appreciate anything that takes away from his players. Stickers and such are too obvious.

People on other boards have suggested his mantra, Leave No Doubt, on a plaque in the tunnel for each of the players to touch on the way onto the field. It reminds them of the greatness they can achieve if they remember those three words but is not "obvious." I like that idea.

I emailed the AD (well, his assistant) and suggest that perhaps others would do the same.

He visited Houston a few years back and you probably never met anyone who loved his Mountaineers as much as he did.

RIP, Coach; you will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the Stewart family.
