I think it's safe to say Carter will be given some PT on the Big boy squad this year.

The Memphis Grizzlies survive a furious comeback from the OKC Thunder to advance in the NBA Summer Tournament with a 92-85 win!

Jevon Carter had 19 pts, 7-17 shooting, 5-6 FTM/FTA, 8 rbs, 8 assts, 1 steal and a +/- of +12 in 26 minutes!!

That's some next level stats.

Bored watching Carter tear it up again and heard a familiar name for the Kings. Blurk! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHn8sk88VBA

"The blue team, which won the game, 128-110, was comprised of Tarik Phillip, Kevin Jones, Nathan Adrian, Joe Mazzulla, Rob Summers, Herbie Brooks, Butler, Truck Bryant, Brent Solheim and Tom Beynon."

That team wouldn't lose to most NBA squads.

Will is getting the Trea Young treatment this year from ESPN. The difference being Grier is actually good.

Your joking right, MSU had there worst two years with Harris playing, talk to MSU fans, all will say he sucked.

Maybe it was the first round, I can't remember.

I also remember him completely choking in a final 4 or championship game in the last 2 minutes of play. It was glorious.

Hopefully Sags stays, bc the payday from being a 1st rounder vs 2nd rounder is huge. You make 1st rounder you are set for life like Joe Alexander even if you don't make it. 2nd rounder like Ebanks if you don't make it, then down the road you better find a real job. To all older people it is a no brainer to stay, but when your young and have agents or family members whisper in your ear the allure is tough to turn down. We shall soon see what Sags decides in the coming weeks.

I would say Ebanks made it. I mean he played meaningful minutes for the Lakers for a couple years.

Personally I think Pitts will be a stud, as good as Worley. I think the first 11 will be good and if Dante Stills is a beast right away then we will be good on defense. The worry is that after a few injuries we really again have no depth and with 11 Power 5 games instead of 10 we will prob. by in a bad spot toward the later part of the season. ESPN FPI had us at 6 wins last year, and we won 7, but if Grier didn't get hurt prob, would of had 8. I think 8-4 is realistic for us, 2-1 out of conference and 6-3 league play. Though still early to say without seeing how preseason goes.

Yea I feel like we are overlooking the defense. I mean who in the nation wouldn't want David Long right now? We don't have to be amazing.

So a Hypothetical starting lineup could be:
Bolden
Harris 6-8
Ahmad 6-8
Culver 6-10
Sags 6-8

That squad could be the best rebounding team in the nation.

I am excited to see what Derek Culver can do. I read somewhere that he grew 2" in prep school this year. So that would make him 6'10". I would really like to see him and Sags on the floor at the same time. I have a feeling that Esa leaves although I would love to see him stay.

Totally agree, he has an NBA body.

A Big Difference (big receivers)

I like what holgs is doing by getting more bigger receiving targets. It has taken him a few years of building but I think this year should be interesting.

I swear if they run QB draws at the goal line this year I am going to lose my mind.

That's really not as crazy as it sounds. OU at home after losing Baker, this has to be the year.

If he's healthy this could be a game changer. Our defense doesn't have to be the best of all time this year, just make a few key stops and get the ball back to the best QB in the nation.

The funny thing is our D line will probably be much more talented than last year, just no experience.

Word on the streets of Elkins is this Alabama WR transfer is a stud. Will might have 3 legit weapons on offense.

5. We need to recruit better shooters, but guys who can defend
6. Sad that JC and Dax are done. They meant a lot to our school
7. Ready to see if McCabe and Knapper can do better

The problem with the Allen argument is every time he was put in the other team when right at him on the defensive end.
