the problemn with air raid offenses is they wear down defenses, your own, they score too quickly. come second half your defense is useless.

Myself I do not believe stew does that bad in the big 12 because he is not going to give up 60 points a game the first three years. He would have scored enough to be more than competitive.

I am not an alumni of wvu, only a native west virginian, but i see this series making a lot of sense for the state. If we can play a towsan state and put money in their state economy, then we can put it to better use in our own state. I would insist on a 2 for 1 home and home series, nothing less.

The team could go winless and the coach , Luck's friend , would not be fired. Luck will have to go for Holgorson to go.

I believe unless Rex takes the Jets to the Super Bowl he is gone. With him goes the circus.

I could not tell who had the worst coach today, not really we did win, them or us. Thank god they lost the playbook with that diamond formation in it. Late in the game I kept waiting to see it again, thank god I did not.

I believe he is a good oc, not head coach. If you are seeing improvement on the defensive side of the ball, please tell me where. The offense realizes if we do not score everytime we will not win, it is hard to perform under that pressure. As a head coach you have to be making sure everything is working toward a common goal and I just do not see it.

Since the Paterno thing in Pennsylvania. I have wondered if the campus police force is a true police force or just a private security force. An answer would be appreciated.

I am a WEST VIRGINIAN, with no educational ties to either school. I am a mountaineer fan by choice, but I still want to see my other major West Virginia team, Marshall, do well. I also want to see the NAIA schools, in the state, do well. It makes our state look better if we have a winning sports scene. I love the way you people want to get rid of Marshall but it is OK to play the James Madisons of the world. So please keep my only shot at a major state game and get rid of the nonsensical division 2 games.

I am a west virginian, so I want Marshall, pitt, and cusa or like caliber team. I want our real rivalry game, pitt, I want marshall for a state game, I do not think we should duck them. We need a third team of lower strength to basically practice against, this will not be like the big east where we will have breathers.

i know i am some kind of fool but myself i want to beat an undefeated pitt team in every sport we play to rub it in their face. After all, if everone beats pitt, where does us beating them really make a statement.

i am sorry folks but i do not ever see ebanks going to the next level and being a success. he just does not seem to have the heart for it. i watch joe out there, who does not have the physical tools at the moment, out hustling him in every way.

I give the coaches a "c" this year. It seamed to me their half time adjustments were adequate even if the overall game plan was lacking. I do not blame this all on Mullins because he did not have any recievers that would keep anybody awake nights with fear or a fullback to pick up short yardage downs or to throw that big block, that owen used to. The biggest disappointment this year was the offensive line which I would give a"d". As for the running backs I would give them an "a" because they did well without getting the blocking they needed. I would also give Pat an "a" for what he did for us, I just wish he would have had that great downfield arm to go with those legs. Then again who knows what he would have done with next years recieving group.

I have friends that are dolphin fans and even with what they are going through the last few years they still think wanny stinks. He brought the dolphins to new lows that they have not recovered from and he will do the same with Pitt and the big east. He is a blight on our conference, they should go out and get donald duck to coach for them, he would be an improvement.

Am I the only one that sees losses by the other good schools in our conference as detrimental to our cause. If these other teams lose to anyone but us how are we going to jump back into the top 10. Right now if we run the table I do not see us being able to jump even the non BCS schools yet any of the so called stronger BCS conference middle of the pack teams.

most new coaches need a minimum of three years to evaluate the job they have done. If anyone thought this was going to be an easy transition, they should have known better. We have an escellent staff, but they have not worked together before this past offseason, that will be better before the end of the season. I believe coach Stew's real coaching job will be during the upcoming offseason. He will then have to show his ability to show the other coaches who is in charge and shape the direction he will want this team to go.

i do not believe it is all mullen's fault or the line's fault. I believe the problem comes down to one player who opened up that last hole. that being Schmitt.
