Imagine if we press as good as the previous years AND we are able to shoot. We will be hard to stop.

Isn't every year the "make or break year" for Holgy?

I just saw on twitter that Huggs announced that he expects Sags to be back next year provided that he isn't a first round draft pick.

Got my lucky WVU shirt on today that carried us to the final 4 back in 2010. I got this shirt at a football tailgate in Morgantown during the season opener when Villanova football came to town. It's also signed by some of the 2011-2012 WVU basketball team. When we win tonight, you can thank the lucky shirt.

I was more referring to you saying "Lexington...a flat shithole of Kentucky."

Proud2Baneer said "I hate Kentucky. Starts 5 freshmen in the sweet 16. It's Lexington......a flat shithole of Kentucky. It's surrounded by horse spitt. Them boys playing for UK have never felt or smelled horse spitt. So what is the lure to go there? Gotta be $$$$$$$$."

You don't know what you're talking about. I used to live in WV and now I live in Lexington. I love Lexington. Great city with nice folks, great places to eat, bourbon distilleries, , local breweries, horse farms, horse racing, culture, and nice UK campus. The city is surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful farms. There is a reason why I still live here. WV is always home, but given the choice between here and there...

Villanova has been beaten four times by Creighton (20-9), Butler, St. Johns (12-13), and Providence (17-9). Granted these are decent teams that beat Villanova, but we are better than all those teams overall and I think we played a tougher schedule. If they can, then why cant we? It may not look like it on paper, but we can do this. LET'S GOOOOOOOOO....

I have nothing more than a gut feeling, but I think we pull off the upset. Yes, they shoot the 3 very well, but I've seen some good teams get rattled by our press. WV will leave it all on the court. This is do or die for JC and DM so...

I've been scouring the internet and literally almost no expert is picking WV to win this game. I think I might have found one, but that's it. If we win this, we go all the way.

I think our team is just now peaking. Everyone is finally stepping up and contributing something. Of course Carter, Miles, and Sags are on their A game, but also Teddy Allen is finally out of the doghouse, improved his defense, and playing his game. Routt is a great contributor. West looked good. Beetle is a solid player, etc. Heck, even Esa is finiding his groove. I think we have a very physical, solid, and deep team that is hungry to move forward. I believe we will shock the nation and win this game. It's ova for nova!

Dude, no offense, but do you think this is the appropriate forum for this? We come here to get our mind off the real world and read about WV sports, not read about conspiracy theories and government control. Post this stuff in the soapbox.

There are only a few two-loss teams. Who do you think should be ranked above them?

Sigh...I remember when we were arguing about if we should be ranked #2 or #1. This is the biggest letdown I've seen in a very long time. So much potential squandered and can't even really pinpoint why. The most logical and glaring difference between the 15-1 team and (what are we now?) 16-6 team is the return of Esa. It's seriously like two completely different teams.

Dang it...sorry! MOUNTAINEERS!

On a serious note, I'm super stoked about this game and this season. I've told several people early on that this could be WV's year and all I heard back was "whatever...you say that every year about basketball and football." Not true. But it's true this time.

On another note, glad to see our football program getting some early love from ESPN's "way too early top 25." They have us ranked at #10. Probably some kind of conspiracy to destroy the program.

Why do you hate the Mountaineers, Bob Huggins, and the state of WV so much?

This topic has been beaten to death. It's like having a jaded girlfriend or something. He's been gone for a decade and his name is still brought up every time there is a coaching rumor. Why would any of us want a sub-par coach to come back to coach at WV? He has a completely different scheme than what we currently have and now he is tarnished by the current allegations. DH just signed a new contract and by all indicators, our team should be improved next year. Why in the world would it even be a possibility that DH would get fired and RR would come back?

Even if he did come back, I'm still watching WV football.

I'm looking forward to watching this game tonight. I'm curious to see how we play against a ranked team versus when we played against aTm.
