I just ran across it wondering what he was doing now-a-days. He still can't get over the fact that he got booed in Morgantown. Not saying that's right, but c'mon now.

Do you remember when he got hurt and a sub came in and several of our fans in the crowd cheered as if they were happy he got hurt? I remember and and I know it didn't sit right with me and I can't blame him if he feels the same way. That's not acceptable behavior when an opposing team's player gets hurt let alone one of our own players.

That's why I give him a pass when says stuff like this. Some people need called out and I'm fine with him doing that if it changes someone's bad behavior.

That is old news. I didn't bother posting it when I first heard about it because it would just give the haters another goddamned thing to bitch about.

NCAA Approves 2018 Kickoff Rule Change; Impacts Fair Catches Within 25-Yard Line

Quote:
A drastic change is coming to college football in 2018 as player safety continues to be a top priority.

According to Greg Johnson of NCAA.com, the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel approved a new rule for kickoffs, with fair catches anywhere inside the 25-yard line resulting in touchbacks and the football being placed at the 25-yard line.

Previously, touchbacks only occurred when the kickoff was fielded in the end zone.

The new rule could help prevent teams from trying to pin opponents deep in their own territory by skying the kickoff and not giving them much of a chance at a return. In the past, any fair catch in the field of play resulted in the ball being placed at the spot where it was fielded.

Wow! No more pinning a team deep. This should help us right?

I been studying this whole flat earth vs globe thing... and I think I may be with Kyrie on this... b4 you judge do some HW but what do you guys think?

I think he has taken too many hits to the head.

WVU ex-quarterbacks (Par and Geno) would be better served if they kept their mouths shut about the crazy theories floating around in their brain damaged heads.

A Big Difference (big receivers)

I like what holgs is doing by getting more bigger receiving targets. It has taken him a few years of building but I think this year should be interesting.

You are far more optimistic than I.

I expect a season very similar to last year. Hope I'm wrong, but I see an improved offense and a defense that might be worse.

I'm thinking something similar here. Especially with Iowa State looking like a solid team last year and if I remember tight TTU's defense looked a little bit better than previous years. It's going to be a dogfight in the Big12 this year.

Any word on the TE from Miami? Holgs mentioned he was pretty good during the season but he had to sit out last year.

The TE position was incredibly important to our success a few years because it created mismatches and offered some parameter help in blocking. Losing Urban a few years back hurt us.

Jovani Haskins? Holgs mentioned him in this interview at the 5:25 mark. He mentioned he could catch the ball but needed to work on blocking.

Holgs also mentioned (4:52 mark) he likes what he sees out of TJ Simmons (the kid from Bama). I have a feeling he is going to be a star with grier slinging the ball.

We will never win a big12 title or final four game with the way we play defense. The ncaa has made it perfectly clear they don't want aggressive defensive teams. Offense is king in this league.
