I didn't see the beginning of the game, but Konate was in (0 for 2 from the floor with an assist). What did he do (or not do) to get benched for the rest of the half? Did anyone notice?

Are you eager for this one, or just trying to ride the excitement of the football national signing day?

I'm a little worried that we're shooting almost 57%, those stats tend to trend back to their norm...but they're shooting 52%, which is abnormal as well.

Interesting halftime stat - OU 11-12 from the line, we're....0-0.

Another year in the system helps Harris and most of the other guys. If I had to pick anyone to be gone, my first thought would be Hunter, then maybe Bender. Routt seems to be getting more of the backup minutes to Konate.

I'd love to see Culver be able to step in and start. I really think Konate's natural position is power forward; that's certainly where he'll have the best shot at the next level. His shooting range has increased to 17 feet; he hits those jumpers in the key regularly.

It's (finally at least today), a great day to be a Mountaineer!

The Sane versus 1642 needs to be shut down. I hear you both but stfup.

My two cents, when I was first joined this site I went overboard with Sane (Mickey) Jane. He private messaged me and told me to grow up. He was correct for the most part.

After somewhat cool down period.

Out of no where he starts to bust my ass about things, in all the polls that I did for football, he was the only one who bitched about the way it was done. ONLY ONE.....sure it could of been written better but I never was a sports writer ( I played both high school and in college)

Now he starts to bust ass on the statements I make, the ONLY ONE....

He is the one that needs to grow up and admit that he couldn't let it go.

I've been on this site for several years now and have always enjoyed the posts from both of you guys; both of you are knowledgeable about WVU sports and I look forward to your posts. I would hope that neither one of you changes. But please quit the circular firing squad! We are all Mountaineers.

I know Sane (AP writer of the year) will question this...

But Sags is turning into one of the best men in the country.

He is the best big man Huggs has had I’am WVU.

Could say at UC except for Martin.

This team played smart and hard today.

Proud of them and thei coaching staff.

Let’s get them Monday

Don't think you can go that far, but he has certainly improved tremendously year-over-year. If he shows as much improvement next year, he'll absolutely be one of the best.

And it should absolutely be a confidence builder going forward. Very impressed with the overall effort, shutting down Barry Brown, and the 96% free throw shooting.

Not any more. I wish they kept stats for "catch blocks", or what ever you call it when you catch the ball instead of swatting it away. I've watched and played a lot of basketball and never seen anyone do it as much as Konate.

I appreciate your information. I rely on this board for all things WVU sports, living here in Florida.

Plus, I'm in an empathetic mood and didn't want you to have to reply to yourself.

Well, there's something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. WV 12-12 100% from the free throw line! We were also 12-23 from the 3-point line. We shoot near 100% on free throws and over 50% on 3's, and we won't lose again this year.

It's just been nice to sit relax, and not have my heart rate and BP skyrocket during the 2nd half.

Sadly, we've proven no lead is safe. Hope they're being reminded of that in the locker room.
