The TCU result will be indicative of the Texas, K State, and Texas Tech results, and even of the OSU result.

Who's Stewart, the LB that made two consecutive tackles for short yardage, at least the 2nd for a loss?

WVU scores too fast. There's more commercials than football. 1:40 WVU touchdown drives are followed by at least 2 minutes in commercials.

The KU website bragged about their $350 million capital campaign to build a new football stadium. That's a lot of money for 2 wins per year.

WVU scored in the 88th minute to take the lead against Baylor, then give up the tying goal with 30 seconds left when a Baylor player caught up to a very long pass a step or two ahead of the defender and the keeper was a step late getting to the ball. All was well as Z scored on a free kick from just outside the box in overtime. So, in a 2-1 game, all three goals were scored within 8 minutes.

WVU plays at Texas on Sunday. Texas is the only remaining undefeated DI team and is ranked 16th or 17th in one of the polls. WVU is 5th or 6th.

I think WVU will beat the spot. I expect them to score 3 touchdowns in the first quarter, and they should be able to score as much in the remaining 3 quarters and Kansas does in the entire game. Also, the spot is based partly on power ratings. Those underrate WVU a bit, since the first team offense only played 2 1/2 quarters the last 2 games, while Kansas probably played its starters far longer. So, the power ratings compare WVU's 2nd team against Kansas's for a little bit.

Both Florida and Tennessee deserved to lose. Florida had a comfortable lead, then gave up two quick late touchdowns. With a 3 point lead and 4 minutes left, they threw an interception. Tennessee got to the Florida 15 with over a minute left. Then, 3 straight motion penalties -- two on Tennessee. Tennessee then kicked a field goal (after missing 3 earlier) to tie it. Then, with 9 seconds left, Florida tried to throw deep. The quarterback scrambled, approached the line of scrimmage, and completed a 60-yard touchdown pass in the end zone. Florida 27 TN 20.

The competition is really bad when the postings don't even include their name (Game Three instead of Delaware State).

Last year was exceptional.
1. WVU won 4 relatively close games. If WVU had split them, they'd have 8 wins.
2. The Big XII was down -- only two ranked teams. In particular, in a few years, Texas will be a lot better than it was last year. TCU was also weak.
3. The OOC competition last year was relatively weak. The strongest team was Missouri. This year, WVU lost to VPI. In the future, the competition might be tough.

The Delaware State Hornets haven’t won a game since November of 2015. Jack McDaniels is completing 42.9 percent of his passes for 165 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception.

The Delaware State Hornets ground game is averaging 59 yards per contest,

The WVU red zone offense is much better than last year. They didn't settle for any field goals at all, and no stops on 4th down.

It's not nearly as good under Mitch Vingle as it was under Mike Casazza.

WVU lost to Duke 4-0. Losing a world-class defender is making a big difference.

WVU has risen to a 24 point favorite over ECU. I believe this WVU squad has many issues so why the large point spread? Maybe Vegas knows something or maybe not. maybe ECU sucks? I think we win but 24 points is too many points for me to lay.

ECU is bad this year. They lost their first game by 20 points to an FCS school, James Madison, although the very best. "They dropped over 600 yards of offense on the Pirates, ran for over 400 yards, and if not for a whopping 14 penalties for 172 yards, the whoopin’ probably would have been worse. Dukes running back Cardon Johnson ran for 265 yards all by his dang self." The WVU ground game will be unstoppable. Also, ECU was bad last year.

WVU is 4 points better than an FCS school. The bad news is WVU plays James Madison next year:

A bet on season total wins seems far better -- the line is 7. You give 4/3 odds, but I think the chances of WVU winning 8 or more are far greater than the chances of winning 6 or fewer. There's less uncertainty, because luck over a season might average out a bit, while anything can happen in one game, especially the opening game.

If that bet is still available and the line is the same, it's looking very good after the Texas and Baylor losses.

6 wins is conceivable -- WVU defeated Texas, K State, TCU, and BYU (the VPI equivalent) last year to go 10-2, and none of those is a sure win this year, but chances WVU loses ALL of them should be fairly slight. Or, to put it another way, the chance that WVU wins at least 2 of those 4 is far greater than the chance they lose ALL 4.

I forgot Baylor, which is also improved, but perhaps WVU is still a significant favorite. So, that's 5 games that are reasonably close. WVU would have to win at most 1 to lose the bet, and win at least 3 to win the bet. If, on average, WVU has a 50% chance of winning each game, a WVU bettor would win 8 times in 11. If WVU has a 43.33% of winning each game, then a WVU bettor would come out even on average. If WVU had about a 40.5% chance of winning each game, a WVU winner would win about half the time (but lose because of the odds) . If WVU had a 55% chance of winning each game, the bettor would win 9 times in 11.
