My post above was to defend the integrity of the Couch. Personally I believe Ollie was the best hire we could have made. But there are plenty of good AD's out there so the sky is not falling.

Couchers are not "small-minded". Without being tested on comprehension of this thread, I read that in general couchers feel that Ollie did well, no one expected him to stay, and now we continue to move forward. A few did not like him or his changes, but I am offended that we were labeled "small-minded". I prefer that it be said that we have differences of opinions.

Last BB Season when we pretty much sucked, couchers were predicting Huggs we be given AD job. Now that team is 11-1, no one is talking about such a move.

I like that Ollie was here. But ok with departure. Sometimes people in positions of power and influence stay too long and bad things happen - like accountability.

Worst event I ever ever attended!!! Had a great time in NYC to offset Pinstripe Bowl experience!

Usually don't miss games, but totally forgot to listen/watch last week - So if we played poorly against N Kentucky he needs to hang up those jackets... two games in a row is proof enough for me.

I believe the last game Huggs wore a suit was that golden gem with matching shoes - against Cincinnati - My suggestion is to have Huggs stay in black sweatsuits!

I like this Big 12 - The Big East fan base never had WVU's back in our bowl games! Thanks, Hook'em.

Joey Galloway was the only ESPN reporter that insisted that TCU should be in. He kept saying that TCU was ranked 3rd last week and won the last game by 52 points (And TCU used 2nd stringers including quarterback in the 4th quarter). He asked how can a team drop from 3rd to 6th by winning a game by 52. No one came to his defense. I bet ESPN kicks him off this panel.

Make playoff 8 teams and that will help make it more objective. TCU & Baylor would both be in and at the end the best team would be standing.

Changed my mind - Never want RR back... good coach, but agree he is a weasel.

Wanting to take RR back is like selling your soul to the Devil. The problem I have is I like winning so much that it is very tempting!

Liberty Bowl committee wants WVU.

December 19, 1964 – The inaugural game in Atlantic City, featuring Utah and West Virginia, marked the first time a major college bowl game was held indoors.

There is a little history here - 50th anniversary. Because the game was played close to Philadelphia the bowl was named after the Liberty Bell.

So not sure how we rank in the Big 12 at the end of the season plays into which bowl we get invited to, but the Liberty Bowl committee is trying to get us.
