Dana has ALWAYS been uncomfortable with the media part of the job. This is why I like him - what you see is what you get. He has not learned to filter what he says. A lot will be forgiven if we have a winning season.

Vick is a football player's player - He is fun to watch and is a great athlete. The problem is how he plays. He can't help his instinct to run. The one play I saw he did what he always does - RUN. Even after he makes the first down he always goes for more. So Rex knows it is just a matter of time before Vick is injured. Geno will continue getting better, because that is his nature. So the Jets need Geno.

I wasn't sure how Geno was going to do in the NFL, but now that I see his determination, I believe he has a chance to become a good NFL quarterback. He wants to be more than "good" so he may achieve "great".

The question is: How do Bradley & Dana get along? Is it like the Dana-Bill oil & water relationship? I think the nature of their relationship will be a marker of things to come.

Murray just got arrested for a DUI in Morgantown...his blood-level was more than twice the legal limit...what gave him away is that he was driving a car with only 3 wheels. You can't make this stuff up, it was in the evening Charleston Gazette.

It would surprise a lot of people if... team is deep enough and our conditioning good enough to play all 4 quarters with energy and strength! Not complaining just hoping!

Sorry, Charlie! Names are big ones...rememebered sitting in front of a Texas fan last fall at game ...Bergerun, now kicked off- was his favorite player. Either Texas players were without discipline the last few years, or Strong is running too tight a ship - or a little of both. Time will tell.

Unbroken - About Louis Zamperini, a World War II POW and an Olympic distance runner. He was a fast runner because he did run away from the police and they DID NOT catch him - but the Japanese did. Good man and a great story!

ESPN is showing "We Could Be King". It is about an inner city Football Team - Martin Luther King High School - no budget, tough kids. The star of the team is a troubled offensive lineman named Dontae Angus. I just googled him. He had offers from Florida, Rutgers and other teams and he committed to WVU... It would be great if he could make it!!! Here's hoping!

Of course Williams has been pumpin, he bought in to the Huggins program. The skinny guys, Harris and Henderson, probably never did.

Actually I did the same thing. I was very specific. I was actually told by the ticket office new boy that I would not know my seats until August when the tickets are mailed out. That sounded odd and I did not re-check. But it makes me think I better call ticket office tomorrow and see what's up.

I am just not done with the Holgorsen experiment. I still think he is an offensive genius. He is obsessed with football and NOT lazy. The quarterback for 2014 will make or break him. Time will tell.
