Not a problem to complain about - but I follow teams where our players were drafted - i.e, Jets & Rams .... as we draft more and more players into the NFL it is going to be harder to try and watch those games. Being a true Eagles fan, having Smallwood is one less team I have to add to my watch list.

Would you put Howard in if he has a great season... even as a late rounder as a back-up qb? Quarterbacks seem to be a premium at the draft.

The only difference if he stayed for his senior year is Williams the college/athlete would be playing overseas WITH a degree, but now he may be playing overseas WITHOUT a degree...

The money for players drafted between the 1st and 2nd round is millions of dollars - coming back for one more year would have meant the potential for a lot more money and a better season for WVU. It is risk/reward - the chances of getting hurt are real - not a decision I would have wanted to make as a twenty year old. The biggest gamble that may not pay off for WVU athletes have been Smallwood and now Williams...

When I see our players coming off the board higher than the analysts predict - I wonder if our players are starting to get a reputation with owners and coaches in the NFL that our athletes play with that old Mountaineer chip on their shoulders. Maybe once our 3 star recruits get to be pros they play with appreciation not arrogance(minus) Packman).

The guy from the gas station who knows this guy (this other guy owns one of the car dealerships that provides cars to the coaches) says that Smallwood was to have the ball but Howard kept it... Dana was so mad that he did spit, but Dana would not throw Howard under the bus and blamed himself... If you get footage of this you can see how crazy mad Dana was at Howard...

Question: What do you have when you have 4 Fords and a Chevy?

Answer: A junkyard and a ride home....

I drive neither but some kid told this to me yesterday and you mentioned Ford so you get a joke... Anyway it has been too serious on the couch lately...

Hield is a good example of playing senior year - he is now worth a whole lot more $ coming back and working on and improving his weaknesses than if he had left early.

Let's see if Nova preps our tournament game against the Sooners to see if they hold Hield to under 10.

1. SFA is a very good team - way better than the seed they were given;

2. WVU needed a true point guard & that would have cut down on turnovers & put the ball where it needed to go;

3. Paige, Miles, Carter & Phillip needed to make shots...

4. SFA is a very good team.

This now is so obvious that we got a bad match-up for a first round.

Thanks for starting the silver lining post. I needed it. I was in Brooklyn and it was hard watching this live. All the fans were against us - either because they did not want to play us in the next round or they love rooting for a high seed over a 3 seed. Left halftime of Michigan/ND game. As we exited onto the street most of our team was leaving as well out a side door...seeing Devon, Phillip, Paige and company in all their WVU gear and no smiles on their faces made the loss even more real.

Hate saying wait until next year or football season, but that's all I got...besides a healthy family... so now all things are well with the world.

I will be cursing again in 1/2 hour...but good for now.

Huggs plan was to give it to our bigs, our team just could not or did not execute game plan..
