I'll take "probably not". This is a lot better than "no" or "never".

We shut down the opposing teams' best players game in and game out... we lost to Florida partially because Nichols did a better job of scouting us than we did the Gators... With that said, who does our scouting???

I used to cringe when Adrian went in, now I cringe when Macon goes in.... I remember someone on the couch pointed out that when Staton couldn't play last year it helped to develop a few other players.... A few of our bench players are getting stronger because of getting Holton's minutes & Macon will too.

I know with Holton the result would have been different! Sorry Big 12 we couldn't get the win for you.

The issue with pot and athletes is it decreases wind endurance & can contribute to athletes becoming lethargic. In the last few games I was beginning to wonder if a couple of our players were one toke over the line. It was obvious to me that Holton with his recent great playing was NOT smoking (if indeed that is the issue). Now whatever I think pot does or does not do goes up with that proverbial (or herbial) smoke!

- I tried to start but I couldn't - Maybe this will go down as the "No Thread" victory.

When I watch other conference games and than switch back to a Big 12 game, it always appears that all Big 12 teams are playing as if it were tournament time. I have never seen this much intensity, this deep in a conference. The old Big East had this much intensity, but only for the teams at the top. That road to Houston is a marathon that has to be run with sprinter's speed.

Brent Musburger said during the second half of the Iowa State vs. Oklahoma game, that Oklahoma looked tired. He said that it is the result of having played West Virginia on Saturday.

Staying healthy and continuing playing with our energy level may be the ticket to Houston.
