How many games are there?... I remember 2012 with Geno, I had us going undefeated.... I have that same positive anticipation, just hope the outcome is different in 2018!

Won 8-5 against Okie Lite in 1st game of Big 12 tournament. Rethinking my like or dislike of Mazey....as a whole baseball coaches seem to be cranky old men, and that is Mazey's personality as well.

I actually did the same thing...was certain I would get one feel good story about WVU football... ESPN had none. This keeps us off the radar. It is better to be the hunter than the hunted (stolen from the Huggins philosophy of coaching).

May 15th - Marshall.... May 17th, 18th & 19th - Baylor last home games of the season ~ great atmosphere, beautiful ball park and very affordable.

Huggs recruits all good players... he ends up with mostly 3 Star recruits with some 4's ... My point is he makes the most of players that are not 5 star recruits... I stand corrected about the 2's ....

A few things:

1) Carter set the bar very high for all players to follow as far as practice and dedication;
2) Huggins chisels players into the body types he needs to play his brand of BB;
3) Teddy needed to lose weight and adapt to Huggins ball...

Huggins never gets 5 star recruits, so he takes the 2 and 3 stars and wins and gets teams into Big 12 Championship games, elite eights and sweet sixteens...

Huggins and staff pushed Teddy to be the best ball player that he could be.... Teddy's natural instinct was to resist.

Good luck Teddy... I will follow his career.

Not many do more for the state of West Virginia than Huggs... This includes not just our national recognition for basketball but all of his philanthropic work for cancer research.

And ~ as I posted earlier we may never know the whole truth about what happened with Teddy and WVU...

Well I felt it was a fair betrayal of the Southern Coalfields... West Virginia has maybe 4 or 5 totally different cultural environments. I have worked and lived in West Virginia all my adult life. The prejudice and racism (although often times very hidden and silent) has been the only aspect of life here that makes me shutter. It was heartwarming to see the community of Mount View embracing diversity and the love of football. I thought about why this community seems to be above racism and my conclusion is that they are all black underground in the coal mines as well as that they work in a job where their lives depend on each other...
