This is Vingle's cowardly way of taking a cheap shot at the Mountaineer Program. He does not like Dana & secretly hopes RR comes back. This article was headline news on the front page of the sports section. It really could have buried it on page 5 or not printed at all. Grow up Mitch!

Read Mike Gundy is on a short list of 7 - would be glad to see him leave the Big 12... Oh but just remembered that everyone would start rumor that Dana would be going to Oklahoma State.

Huggs is a very smart man - he is one pound, one drink, one outburst from a major heart attack... He is learning to keep it all in check because he is a man who loves life.

Watching TCU vs Kansas FOOTBALL (not BB)... Kansas is out playing and outscoring TCU - 13-7. I was going to watch Bama vs. Miss - but so far this is the better game.

Too soon to tell, players too new to be comfortable. Announcers stated that Staten held back to see if others could do their jobs... Williams was off... I only know this from listening to the game....but it does seem to make sense. I am rooting for Huggs because he is Huggs...My favorite saying with both Dana and Huggs is, "Time Will Tell".

Couch Burning is ok. The amount of alcohol consumed on campus at WVU is not ok. This may have been at a fraternity, but the problem (and yes when an 18 year old dies it is a problem) is systemic of the whole univesity.

Will we ever have 12 teams in the Big 12? I thought that the Big 12 would pick up schools located between WVU and Iowa, and one of those schools would become our rival. I thought Louisville would join, but when that did not happen, I do not know what schools remain.

We over-achieved this year. Clint Trickett over-achieved. We have not seen a true Dana quarterback (recruited and developed by Dana) play. Crest looks like the real thing. I believe we will stay relevant.

One more comment: I find a real disconnect between Florida State's letting go of Moss in the 1990's, and Florida State ignoring all the bad behavior committed by Jameis Winston today.

Moss was way ahead of his time and protected his own. Prejudice in West Virginia remains strong, especially in rural areas. Not so much here on the couch. This prejudice fueled him. His anger motivated him. The question remains - how many more Randy's exist out there that just get stuck in their negative environment?

Also thought about how great WVU would have been with Randy, but he did quite well without us. I hope no one judges his bad behavior if they haven't walked in his shoes!
And Randy never turned his back on Rand. I used to wonder why when the televised NFL games would flash Randy's face, he would say "Rand University". Now I know the story behind it.

I saw that on TV during the game.... I actually thought Dana was signaling in to his players to grow a pair!

Hate to lose - Dana hates to lose - We lost to 4 & 5-star recruits finally getting it together with a great coach - on the road... Rather lose to Texas than to South Florida! We aren't in Kansas anymore... oh yeah we are.

I would love the Liberty Bowl. A bunch of Mountaineers on Beale Street would be great. I would take higher rankings over this but the other cities are hard to get to.
