since I said this team wouldn't win another game they are 2-0. So I'm sticking with it, these guys can't win another game.

Reminds me of a pampered child that needs changed. lol. Love Owen. Nothing will change that. Steve, I don't guess I have an opinion about him. I'm away from WV, and haven't read where he's said anything either good or bad about WVU in a long time..

A framed pic and jersey hangs in my sports room right beside one each for Jerry West. Always will, with that said I had to unfollow Pat on twitter. couldn't handle it, and I knew I'd end up not liking the guy.

If it's a problem it's a athletic department problem more than football staff problem. Dana didn't schedule to honor the 07 team then half ass it. That's from someone in the ADs office. I want those guys treated like the football gods they are. It's not the coaching staffs job. Now if The letterman club or whatever sets up things and Dana locks the door facility then we can yell at Dana.

Here's the thing, on game day I hope our staff is busy with the task at hand. I'm sorry but they don't have time to make sure the former players needs are met. That's a job for the Letterman Club not a coaching staff on game day. If it's during the week and not during practice then yes as I said on Twitter, their should be GAs walking around tossing rose peddles on the ground for the GOAT to walk on. Pat White is still my favorite player of all time and unless somebody wins a NC and Heisman while rescuing babies from a burning building he always will be. With that said he can be a petty guy. This isn't the first time he's aired some type of grievance. Beer Truck is just as beloved as PW and Super Steve yet is always around the program but has never complained about being treated bad.

A lot of these recruits, especially the guys from the region grew up worshiping PW and Slaton. You hear current players talk about watching those guys as kids. You think Dana would purposely slight this centuries face of the program? Quincy Wilson was around the team a lot when Dana first showed up, what, Dana likes Wilson and not Pat? Come on.

If I'm Dana, it's game day and a former star player shows up with 50 or so teammates and starts acting like he is entitled to more than everyone else, I'm probably going to roll my eyes and go on with beating the #15 team with out giving it much thought.

Again, love Pat and am thankfull for what he did for us but he's got to understand as the Grey Ghost did at the end of Everybody's All American his days are over. Just take the timeout break shoutout/standing ovation and roll with it. He kind of sounds like the blue hairs, "we should still be playing in the Big East with UCONN and USF. Now be still, Matlock's on".

Or Dana might be spiteful, like damn son you set expectation too damn high.

They worked Kyle out at center during camp, wish they'd given him a shoot there.

Sometimes I wish they could of broken in Matt Jones a little more last year. Just like I hope in 2 years when Matt Jones is a Senior, they break in his replacement a little better. The Center position is just such a critical component to any football team.

OSU's Lundblade was out vs. TCU, and Texas and you saw there whole offense struggle. Of course he came back fully restored vs. WVU.

You look at the best backs over the years you will see a top flight center out front. Amos had Eric De Groh, Murrell had Compton, Slaton had Mozes for a year then Mike Dent who may have sucked at snapping but could block as good as anyone, Noel had Joe Madsen, Smallwood and then Jennings last year had Orlosky. Avon was the exception. No clue who the center was then.

Save to say we've been spoiled. That's my position, played it from age 9 to 22. I'm more critical of it than any other position and it's struggling this year.

Listening to Uncle Don on sports line and it was stated that Campbell is from the Nehlen coaching tree. His coach at Mt Union worked for Uncle Don. Pisses me off k owing ISU will be rolling in here playing WVU football and we will be playing some pussyass west Texas candy ass flag football.

Hey at least we finally get Mike Patrick in the booth.

Yes and I too hate the air raid. I won't watch teams that run it. I'm stuck with WVU running it I guess. Give me Stanford's offense.

Sorry Wheels, that meh, 10 win season made him safe for another 3 years. I don't see a win on the schedule. Maybe KSU maybe Texas. I'd give them a 40% chance in both but the other two forget about it.

Buddy of mine wanted to go and take our boys. I'm like you want to spend 8 hours ins car, drop 120 a piece on tickets, sit in the cold for a beat down? 20 dollar ticket? Sure I'll go but I'm not paying 2007 prices for 2017 results. I'm not being a over reacting dick, this is what we have.

I can't wait to see what the uncomfortable part of things will be. I hope Dana calls plays and the O Line gets shaken up. Not sure if they're another center or not but Jones isn't very good. He's the one that fails up most of the run plays. He can't block.

I know they had the come back vs TT but this team all to often looks like they don't care. Minus a few guys. David long and Al being the main guys that brings it every play.

If he can or can't doesn't matter for 3 or 4 years. The seasons go by so fast the older you get. If this is a .500 team I don't care, I'm just enjoying as much of it as I can. My days of losing mind are over, the mediocrity of the past 9 years has softened me. I cussed folks for saying this before but we are what we are. As long as they go out and compete like they did today, win more than they lose I'm good to go. This league is very competitive right now and 3 more wins aren't given, not one team left you can cost through. Even Baylor has shown life. So as Jack use to say, hoist the battle flag, find a good rock for cover the invaders from the west are here.

For the most part today we beat ourselves. The 7 points we gave up off the muffed punt, 3 points on the missed field goal, and the 7 points we gave up after the INT. Can’t play like that against a good team and win. The last kickoff after we scored and then we kick it out of bounds and give TCU a short field for their final game winning drive. I’m blaming special teams for a 17 point swing in that game. Add in the shady officiating at the end we are lucky to come within 7 points of TCU.

Not the entire ST, just Molina and Stewart. Molina kicking off is on Dana. Why? Don't get it.

You know if you lose a tight game or get you ass kicked, that's how it goes. But seriously, 7 questionable calls by my count, two during critiical last minutes go against us!! Not to mention flags being picked up or not, all of which went against is!!! These wvu kids deserve better, not to mention the fan base and state. Sure we had opportunities, but all you can ask for is a level laying field, which I absolutely believe we did not get. WTF is wrong with these Big 12 officials? They face no repurcussions I know of and make the eggressious errors having a major effect on our sports programs- and yes it does affect the university as a whole as the difference in payouts for these high dollar bowl games is significant!!!! I call bullshit and absolutely believe it is within the control of the Big 12!!! Why do they have replay if they pick and chose when a call stand or not based on not consistent calls on established protocol, but what appears to ambiguiosly benefit the team of their choice!!! For Christs sake, did you hear the comments from Dean Blandino and the analysts. They don't even understand!!!!

It's why Nebraska left, they got tired of this bull ****. The Big 12 will do everything it can to get a team into the title picture. By the time they call PI on David I was laughing my ass off. It was a joke by then. I hate this league. Glad WVU got in but would rather be in the ACC and I hate the ACC. I hope nobody gets in, I hope TCU gets jumped on the last day just like in '14. **** the Big 12.

I thought the D played good, great compared to the prior 4 games. The corners are weak and will be all year. It sucks that the D can't get the front 7 and back 4 solid in the same year. A few of those DBs looked lost or didn't want to hit. On Ken Hills TD catch Avery could have made the tackle but he took a lazy angle to avoid fighting through a block. Most of the night the D played their positions with proper discipline. White didnt on that 4th down end around. If he stays home and keeps contain WVU gets the ball at the 50. But can't be mad at him, he played lights out. I was very happy with the D. If they play like that the rest of the way 9 wins is doable. If the corners get a clue they could for sure get 9 maybe 10 with the bowl.

Stewart was an asshole, he did a selfish thing, very undisciplined. The TCU kid gave up as did everyone else as you do when somebody calls a fare catch. But no he had to be Billy bad ass and show how hard he is. I'd sit his ass the next game. That's the same as punching or hitting someone late, very selfish.

The OLine is playing better than I expected. Pass pro is amazing but can't get a push in the run game. Jones has to improve, he is the weak link. He's the main reason the run game isn't doing better. In the combo block the guard has to stay engage longer which allows the backer the guard is to block goes free. When he's one on one the NG is normally the one that plugs everything up. Oh and holding, the guy can't hold for ****. He gets busted more than anyone, ever.

Will is awesome but goes on streaks where he is just off. Not sure what the deal is there. He makes that easy throw to Wesco they may have a TD instead of another Molina shank. David's TD off the slant was a bad throw, DS4 just has those monkey arms.

Most of the time they lose and I'm mad at the team today I'm mad at the officials. They determined this game. And I'll go to my grave believing that if OU wins the game is called differently.

Not directly but mistakes and stupid penalties plus a rowdy crowd can definitely hold us to fewer points.

Interesting. We are known for mistakes and stupid penalties. I just think Grier is too good for only 17 points. I'd like to see 0 drips, especially in the endzone, by our receivers.

Zero drips would be yuge!

Mudderpucking largantic.

But boy do we have an O-Line. About midway 2nd quarter you could see them coming together. I think Jones was overwhelmed at times but for a first time starter he played his ass off. Very proud of those men Sunday.

So while at fan day I got a pic of my kid with Kyle Bosch, my fav player currently and probably top 5 all time. I tweeted it to him and said thanks. Flipping through twitter today and see he used it as his twitter profile picture. My kid still hasn't come down to earth. https://mobile.twitter.com/Kyle_Bosch65
