Zwaa ...

I think the argument is a bit more nuanced and complex.

If the point is justifying the act at hand, you're correct. Pointing to the previous administration to justify oneself is stupid. It was one of the things I despised most about Obama; He blamed Bush for everything, including issues late in his presidency. He never took responsibility for anything bad that resulted from his decisions, which is the logical conclusion of his ideology.

If the point is the selective outrage of the left, you're wrong. Such arguments reveal the stated motives and outrage of the people losing their minds are not as they state, but instead are the current manifestation of their identity politics and "team" membership.

I think it's not only plausible, but correct to say that this is problem and we should improve our policies regardless of how entrenched they are in the history of previous administrations, AND some of those arguing for the improvement of those policies are doing so disingenuously and don't really give a damn about these kids or issues beyond obtaining votes and power.

Honest question, the legality of the act of asylum seeking is partially based on where it is done, correct?

My understanding is that if I show up at a port of entry with my children and seek asylum, I've broken no laws and (provided that I am actually the guardian of the children) I get to stay with them. If I, however, attempt to cross the rio between ports of entry and get caught and then say I'm seeking asylum, I have committed a crime and will be separated.

If this is wrong, a link to a primary source (i.e., the written law or 8th circuit decision on the law) would be appreciated. Thanks folks.

Who do we take and how many?

Colorado? Ok.
Arizonas? Maybe.
Don't see any of the cali schools working well. Idk. I'd rather see a raid of the ACC, but that isn't likely.

Yup ... Slate is the pinnacle of knowledge on foreign diplomacy. In between articles on transracial sharks and the benefits pedophilia they published this gem.

He talks tough - He's starting war.
He meets and tries to make peace - He's too soft.

The guy could literally walk on water, and the headlines would be that he cant swim.

Getting a denuclearized NK will do more to open the possibility of actually freeing and improving the lives of the NK people than merely saying, rocket man is a fat, piece of ****, who is killing his own people could ever do.

Let's just wait and see what happens. If this deal works, I could care less how many times he said Un is smart, skinny, big dicked, w/e.

I honestly do not know how some people can still be in a constant state of "the sky is falling". It must be exhausting.

He got the remains of soldiers from the Korean war back ... or as CNN will report it "Trump disrupts the burial site of US Heroes just for fun".

In all seriousness, no one really knows right now. Cautiously optimistic that this will resolve one of the major international threats right now. I think we just need to wait and see what Kim actually does. Too soon to say anything definitively.

But he isn't a 4-5 star. He is not even rated according to 24/7.

If one of the top teams in the country can find its way to southern WV for an unranked recruit but our own staff is oblivious and isn't showing interest, it's a bad sign about our ability to recruit our own backyard.

I love Dana. I'm a Dana guy. But this is not a good look. If I recall correctly, Stew visited every HS in WV every year. It was a policy of his. This type of policy might better help us snag some of the instate talent.

Part of the formula for our success is that we MUST keep the limited talent in-state. We cannot afford to miss out on our own kids.

A few months away. Ready to talk about actual football again.

7 seems about right. We'll loose all the games we should and one or two we shouldn't. Not getting my hopes up.

Tyler Urban was a HUGE piece of the Holgy system and our success. He was one of our more sure handed receivers and a reliable outlet when we played good teams (e.g., LSU).

Redzone success has suffered lately. Anyone who doesn't realize the advantage of big bodied TEs from a schematic viewpoint doesn't know much about football. The flexibility of someone who can be a blocker and pass catcher gives you options from a play calling standpoint. It also takes away options from a defense's play calling because the delayed route is always a possibility with a RPO.

Check what Kliff did with Amaro in 2013. Took an decent TE to AA status and 1st round pick. TEs can (and do) work in the air raid, if used properly.

Holgy realizes this. That why he chased Wesco and brought in the kid from Miami. We're looking for a good TE. Just haven't found one.

Kids getting some interest from D1 programs but is off our radar? You gotta keep the limited talent we got in state if you want to be successful.

I don't care how many xbowls skylar Howard wins. He sucked. If geno, Clint, pat, or Jarrett had the teams he was on, we'd have a lot more trophies in the ol' case.

Reports are out that Hunter Johnson of clemson is on the market. #1 QB from two years ago. Seen him play and practice multiple times. Kid is the real deal. Will have 3 years of eligibility.

I'd trade pretty much anyone we got right now for him.

Is he actually suggesting that a waitress took a dump in his alfredo?? I sincerely doubt the friend actually was requesting that the waitress **** in his food. Hyperbole between young, dumb teens.

And the lawyer comments? Wtf. His gf was hot. She’s going to be hit on in any state. Not sure what that has to do with playing at wvu. He just comes off as such a whinny little bitch.

He lost all my respect when he **** on the big east teams.

Zeke Moisey transferred to Nebraska. The only AA on the team is gone.

They have another eligible transfer. Former espn 300 DT, sterling johnson. Sources are on the fence if he graduates before the fall but he has two years of ellligibility and can sit a year of need be.

Wonder if Robinson can help us land him too.

Yea ... there is a lot to the puzzle.

Clemson just built a 60 Million dollar facility with all the bells and whistles.

They are one of the most elusive offers to obtain, we hand out offers like candy.

They have a **** ton of resources and staff devoted to the professional and personal development of their players. They've branded that part of their program well and have a lot of corporate backing that we don't.

They have a social media and edits team that are connecting with players on the mediums they naturally use.

And ... their recent success doesn't hurt.

If you want to win at recruiting at WVU, you need to continue to do what we are doing: Have unusual systems and styles of play and grab the tweeners that don't perfectly fit the other programs, steal a PA, OH, MD kid every now and again, keep the limited in-state talent at home, and supplement with grad transfers and JUCOs.

Last year or the year before (I forget) was one of the best recruiting classes to come out of WV in a long time and we barely got any of the guys from it. Other than that, I really think Dana has done well. This year playing NCState and UT will tell us a lot about the talent we have.

Good news. That'd be a big get. He's a talented kid. Not sure how the transition from the 4-3 to 3-3-5 will be, but time will tell if he commits.

Which of the DLs from Clemson are they closing in on?

Rumor has it Johnson (the more highly ranked recruit) might not have his academics in line and would possibly have to sit out a year. Robinson is immediately eligible though.

This year reminds me of 2012. I say we finish .500 at best. You cannot win football without defense.
