Just checking up on how the migration has been going? Anything new? Can't wait to see how everything works once it is up and running.

You should check out Stream Smart, it seriously have everything on it. I know it sounds as illegal as heck, but they sell them at walmart, amazon, etc. If you buy them from those sources they are not warranted though so I would go from the company. One of my buddies got me one, it works great, you can search for just about any tv show, watch live TV, stream every NCAA game, it even had the WVU Delaware State game.

We just cancelled our Sling TV and are going solely with this option, if anyone is interested drop me a PM and I'll give you his contact information. Do your due diligence and read up on them, but I am loving it so far and we've only had it a week.

I got in trouble on vacation this year, we went to the beach so I kept impersonating flamingos. My wife kept yelling at me and insisting that I stop... I finally had to put my foot down.

Just signed up, thanks for the info! Used to be die hard conservative, but my politics have mellowed. Format is really different, but considering my main site has been this one since 2006...

I've been on here a while and regularly check in, but I hate to see this place slowly phasing out. I've heard mention of this "other" site too, but not sure what it is, I'd like to join if WMITC's members have migrated there.

Have there really been no new lame jokes created since December 15, 2015?

I am always nervous when we get in the tourney, it seems we play to our competition often, when they are down, we don't play as hard. When they are on fire, we shoot better and seem to be more into the game. Let's just hope that we go into this with the mindset that Bucknell could be a spoiler. MOUNTAINEERS!!!!

If I am able to stay awake for a 9:00 game I'll try to chime in and complain about officiating with you. If anyone is on Twitter, you need to follow the Big 12 Refs, they do a great job of live tweeting the games with amusing commentary.

Don't message much, but great to see all the old names showing up. I have been a voyeur since I graduated in 08. Hope we do get some new blood in here soon, I miss the active board, not that I contributed, just enjoyed reading.

Nighttime burglary carries not less than one nor more than fifteen years. 61-3-11(a). Basically the maximum could increase by five years, but the minimum is the same. For daytime it is not less than one nor more than ten years.

If you are cited for less than 15 grams of marijuana, the court can defer to make a ruling on the charge, and place the defendant on probation. Six months after your probation ends, you can file a motion with the court to expunge your record. This is honestly less burdensome than a speeding ticket which stays on your driving record for seven years if I remember correctly. Hope these guys decide to just focus on athletics and academics and leave this crap alone, not worth the hassle and press.

I also was in a fraternity, though at a small liberal arts school, not WVU. Although drinking culture was very prevalent at our college, I was never, and we never "hazed" pledges or brothers. Drinking was associated many times, but we never did the things you read about at bigger universities. I am not naive to believe that it couldn't have happened with the amount I consumed on occasion or others at the house, both brothers and independents. I just feel that you get this more at the bigger universities.

That said, I hate seeing this always become "hazing" as soon as it happens. Let me preface this that I know NOTHING beyond what has been reported on the news and what I've seen here. I just know that many students end up in alcohol related deaths and other situations (i.e. DUI, rape, etc.) but as soon as it takes place at a Greek event, or in a house, it is suddenly hazing.

My college experience and who I am today was greatly shaped by my involvement with my fraternity and my closest friends even through grad school and professional live still are my fraternity brothers. Maybe my experience is atypical, but I doubt that. I think these situations and the media blitz that happens following creates the impression that fraternities and sororities are simply drinking clubs for people who can buy their friends.

Guess I should have put this in the Soap Box group... I'll get down now.

PS, I do truly feel sorry for the kids that feel the need to drink to fit in, I was there, and I know many others were at that age. It is a tragedy that any student, greek or otherwise, passes due to excessive drink and other bad decisions. Theirs or made by others.
