Bullshit Bob said "his attitude"... He clearly didn't give a fvck about punching opposing teams' fans, maybe Teddy should try that.

Lots of discord and much I agree with after watching our "NO CIGAR GANG" coughed it up a second time in a row. Bob, please get your game plan for scoring figured out as nobody is scoring in the clutch. The JC 3 point attempt late was a low arch shot that is a low percentage shot. All players (good NBA players) know you need an arch to improve your size of the basket and not a low angle shot with a small basket opening!

Not teaching a senior this basic skill is criminal! How can he play so poorly when we needed his best effort in the clutch. I love the fade away but not the stupid 3 pointer.

Wow. we're back to "the sky is falling" on here. Conference games are important and no, Huggins does not try to lose. But he's been doing this a LONG time. He's been very successful at this for a LONG time. How many of you are on here bitching when we take a team with marginal skill and make the Sweet 16 or Elite 8? Somebody please make another ignorant comment about how average Huggins is...learn to read and read up on him, please. He is one of the best in the game today.

Which brings me back to...he keeps things in perspective. This team has to grow together and get on board with what we need to do - yes, decided upon by him...that's the way he rolls. How many times have we seen his teams fall down in the middle of the season when they get bigger than their britches and stop accepting coaching? He let's them learn about "doing things their way" - and then he brings them back...only better than before. It's a long season and this young team has lots of growing to do. It would be different if we had 5 one and done players - he could just let them go. That's not us.

For those of you with a man-crush for Teddy Allen...which one of you knows the first thing about this guy? Is he on time for practice? Does he work on his defensive or rebounding skills? Is he a cancer in the locker room? Not a single one of you knows squat. If he is that much of a persona that he'll just transfer for sitting 2 games - maybe he should go. Perhaps our HOF Coach has a few insights that all you who are pissing and moaning don't know about. Perhaps you guys believe what you hear on TV...just like Esa's suspension being due to "not qualifying for academic reasons" and the on court reporter asking him how his grades are...he came back hot on a piss test. It was reported on here first - months ago.

Some of you should go blow Teddy Allen and stop him from leaving and while you are at it, give John Beilein a reach around so maybe he'll come back. Don't get me wrong, Teddy Allen could be really good and John Beilein is an exceptional coach in his own right but some of you should read what you type. A couple of you should go back and review your posts...if you've got 34 posts and they are all negative and bitching about our teams - go someplace else for WVU haters.

This loss sucks but our team and coach are the same as they were a week ago when you loved them. If it was as easy as some of you appear to think, everyone would do it.

I can't really disagree with what your saying. I think the majority of it people just venting...being so frustrated at wanting this team (or any WVU team) to live up to it's potential. WVU fans are very passionate about these teams. They bitch some but when it comes down to the love is there. It's really hard to watch a team be up by doubles and watch it piss away....screaming at the TV...wanting someone to step up.....this is just a place we all can vent. Relax

Hall of Fame coach my ass. I have said this before and I will say it again. A great coach can take his and beat yours; and then turn around and take yours and beat his.

Does anyone in their right mind actually think Huggy can do that?

He can only win when his are clearly better than yours. And even then he will occasionally figure out how to give the game away.

No more excuses!

LMAO sg44gold. If you don't think Huggins is a HOF coach then everyone should take your basketball opinions with a grain of salt.
The thing I noticed about the last two games; they've played very aggressive in the first half getting themselves in foul trouble. The second half comes around they have to play with less intensity. Also, a lot of missed assignments on defense toward the end of both games.
Don't forget that the last 2 loses came from top 10 teams needing huge comebacks in the last 7 minutes shooting lights out.
Like the above post said, keep things in perspective. They are 15-3, in the top 10, and arguably playing in the best basketball conference.

My criticism of Huggy has been consistent. He wins when he clearly has the best players. Which he has had at least 65% of the games he has coached.

But if you think you were watching an offense coached by a Hall of Fame coach, then you need to think about your basketball IQ.

Hey, I know. We are a terrible shooting team. How about this, lets pass the ball around the perimeter and then launch a jump shot before the shot clock runs out.

Or maybe even give it to our 6'8" or 6'9" guys 20 feet from the basket and watch them dribble it off their feet trying to make a move to the basket.

And it hasn't been just this year. We have doing this very same lame ass crap for years.

I guarantee you that there are coaches around the Big XII that secretly laugh at Huggy's "offensive" schemes. I know Self is laughing today.

If so, then he needs to go. Thankfully, I really doubt you are correct. If he is a competitor, he will fight his way back in. Huggins has done this before and elevated player' games. Playing time is a great resource for coaches. It is like currency that players earn. They need to respect that.

Allen scored 20pts and 22pts in under a half of a game. How much more elevation does he need. looks like Huggs is trying to knock him down a notch. The kid moves, works hard on the court and looked like he is having fun on the court.Like I have said before, a freshmen isn't allowed to come in and become the man at WVU. That is exactly why Huggs will never get a blue chip player. Jason Williams would have never been nicknamed white chocolate playing under Huggs. Remember the Turk. The kid played tight, afraid to make a mistake and therefore his game never matched his potential.

We don't know what is going on. We don't know what conversations they have had. I trust that Huggins knows that basketball championships are determined on the floor at the end of the season, not in a poll in January. I trust he will have the team firing on all cylinders come March.

This.

I understand the frustration but we lost to 2 top 10 teams who had to mount comebacks to win. Our problem, as you mentioned, is getting into foul trouble early and not being as aggressive on defense in the second half. Well, that and the disappearing offense. It's a problem but it's fixable. We still have the talent to go a long way this year.

I just don't understand why Bender plays over Logan. The kid from Cameron is a much better athlete. Every know and then the staff sees it, but next game he's right back in there.

Bob Huggins career would be HOF worthy based just on what he did at Cinncinati...don't forget that. Then consider what he's done here and then say "average at best". That's laughable.

Sorry to disagree with some of you but some of your opinions don't mean a thing. Did anyone see what Bill Self was wearing for the game? Self definitely was not laughing about Huggins offense, they are friends and there is a lot of respect between the two. Ditto Calipari. Ditto many of the top coaches in NCAA. Their informed opinions mean a lot more than our blind bitching about a bad loss.

I think it is accurate that Huggin's teams play tight at times trying not to screw up but many of you fail to notice the huge improvement and the player development that happens under Huggins and just credit it towards "how good a player is". He wants his players to play the game - not even "the right way"...he wants "his right way" and they do play tight sometimes - but they become MUCH better.

Teddy Allen could be very special but picture a 19 year old kid coming off the bench and scoring 20 for a team that has a 14 game win streak, ranked #2 in the nation. Yep, that's a lot going on in a 19 year old's head and some attitude adjustment could be in order. I know I didn't like what I saw on the bench during the Kansas game. Teddy appeared to be pouting and disinterested - which is understandable given circumstances. Jevon's post-game showed how demoralized he currently is - but they will get better by Tourney time.

Talk about Blue Chippers while you forget (or just are ignorant of) Kenyon Martin, Nick Van Exel, Michael Beasley, Devin Ebanks, etc. Look at the people who have risen as assistants under Huggins and are now top coaches in the game today and think that Huggins isn't respected. Please get serious and talk about real problems instead of imagined ones because you don't like his methods. He is a proven winner - you guys aren't. I think we'll be fine come Big 12 tourney time even if we are a #4 seed. I think we'll be fine come NCAA Tourney time even if it is as a 5 seed.

I wonder the same thing sometimes as well but if it comes down to a "smell test" of how awkward and unathletic a guy appears then Nathan Adrian and Deniz would've never have seen the court...give it time.

It's always good to hear the message board coaching brain trust weigh in on our coach's flaws here on The Couch.

What do the comedians say when they are being heckled? Hey, I don't come to your work and knock the dick out of your mouth.

Too much perimeter shooting. We cannot score inside on a Kansas team that is consdered to be very small this year. Left too many of their shooters wide open for 3s over and over again. When do you learn?

Teddy Allen is being hyped up on here like he is LeBron James. Dude can score but seems to be slow as **** from what I've seen of him. We do not even try to get it into konate down low. Dude should be at the free throw line all night. Just bombs away. Our guys think they are in a 3 point shooting competition.
