It takes a 28 point lead to win by 11 but it's still a win.

Let's go!

Seems like the guys were taking it to the paint much more tonight. Maybe that's because what Baylor was giving them, maybe what Huggs had on his menu. Anyway, it looked good in the first. Once again it seemed liked we got softer in the second. Maybe just worn out, I don't know but we held on and won an important one.

I hope Huggins stops pressing in the 2nd half to rest our guys for the tournament. Idk. Its frustrating watching us blow leads, lose double digit leads, and hold on for dear life.

We didn't go away at the end of the game and that is a good sign. We missed a lot of shots as we have done in the losses. We hit those and we are tough to beat.

My two cents:

1. Technically, we blew another 17-point lead.

2. The end of the first half was fun to watch.

3. In the second half, both teams basically sucked and the referees seemed more interested in getting screen time than in calling the game.

OK, that's three cents.

Tom Crean, who IMHO has been the best announcer for WSPN this year, so wanted JC to get that assist.

Radio watched and happy to hear we held our double-digit lead, unlike the other 5 times we didn't. I think that is what they said.

Happy to hear we shot better than the last time against Baylor. Our shooting had been questionable and needs to get better.

Free Throws is great and shows maturity.

I’ll take your two cents and add two for a total of five:

4. Sags is fun to watch.

5. Even when he doesn’t get a block his very presence in the paint changes the game.

6. Do you think he’s one and done? I hope not.

OK, that’s six cents.

My two cents:

1 - Sags had his TENTH block but they called a foul on him. UGH!!!

The announcer said "save that highlight anyway." (He actually took a break from talking about KANSAS). PS - Sgas is a Sophomore.

2 - Carter fed Esa in the lane for an easy turnaround for his 500th Assist. Esa MISSED the shot. UGH!!!

I think Carter is stuck at 499 assists.

Anyone that believes this team is an elite team is deluded.

At best they have one win coming in the NCAA tournament. I could also see them sliding to the point where they are an 8/9 matchup.

Until they learn to play a full game attacking the basket they are forever going to be a "choke" team. I don't think I have ever seen a team of talented players as snake-bit as these guys are in the second half.

Whatever they did to get up 28 (I missed the first half) they should do to stay up. Maybe Huggins should call Spavital to have him teach the guys to have the pedal on the floor all of the time. Our second half process is akin to what you guys want Spavital to do. Milk the clock. Unfortunately football isn't like basketball and you can't milk clock. Basketball is all about working to get the matchup you want and to exploit it. You have to exploit it with 28 seconds on the clock if it is there. You can't wait for 5 seconds. Mismatches don't appear out of the blue they are a result of work.

Had this team last night been anyone better than Baylor we lose again.

Baylor had a 5-game win streak that included wins over Tech and Kansas. I'll take the win.

One more "two cents."

There are times when BOLDEN is the best player on the floor ... period.

He drives; he dishes; he shoots; he defends. And he even grabs some rebounds.

serious question - how is it that when we drive the lane it looks like our guys are running into a forest but, when our competitors do the same thing it looks like we don't have the same amount of guys on the floor?

I want to know why no whistle is blown when our guys drive but music comes out when opponent drives to the basket.
