Florida atheists ‘unbless' highway with ‘unholy water'

It's all good i mean were all free to do as we wish right?

but why was the road blessed in the first place?

Lakeland is half way between Orlando and Tampa, I can't remember the names, but there was one heck of a gang war going on. Lakeland had grew up, and they were fighting over who was going to get to sale there drugs ware kinda crap. Somthing like 12-14 yong men got killed, a church in poke county was able to get them to make peace after a vary bloody drive by at this spot, so as part of the PEACE process both gangs gathered at the spot and a prayed for there lost friends and the area was blessed. It is kind of like a safe zone now. If you wanna be a atheist that's fine, but can't you stop working ageist the "little bit" of good the church is doing?

WOW. Talk about people with too much time on their hands. Life must be pretty good, indeed, when you can spend your time and effort in this manner. What's next tiny dogs in purses?

No one said a darn thing about being a better person than some one. Maybe i am wrong here, but i think it is better for the hole area when we don't have a drug/gang war going on.

Good point, I mean it was nothing more than a "look at me look at me" deal anyways. Just hope the gang war is over, and wish people would let things be, after all who cares what your faith is, we can all agree ending a gang war is a good thing.

I've read several stories about the blessing issue, but have not seen this mentioned. Do you have a source? As a matter of fact, your post is the only one that seems to come up saying anything about that.

So to sum up. Blessing the road does no harm, but also does no good - and has the effect of pissing people off that think you should be out working a job while you are blessing roads.

I just unblessed all those roads right here from the comfort of my home by casting a great big old nonbeliever spell from my bag of atheist secret powders and magic charms. All the spells contain Eye of Newt Gingrich as a primary ingredient. Muhahahaha! Muhahahahahaha! Spooky.
