They must not have any bear problems there. Shit our feeders are 12 feet off the ground, suspended between two trees at least 15 feet apart and the bears still get to it. They knock those ground feeders right over.

The bears see the outline of the state. Remember that it is NOT a good idea to be standing in the middle of a clearing in the state of West Virginia. And then make their way back into the woods for cover.

Bears are NOT stupid.

Corey Winfield, the Syracuse grad transfer and potential starter at cornerback, was busted for DUI this past weekend.

As a refresher note from a few weeks ago...

"Just wait until the end of June/early July when some whipper-snapper recruit decides to ride down High Street, beyond drunk, in a car with three wheels."

In his contract, he gets WVU Rifle Team round the clock short range sniper cover from his roof for just such eventualities. No fancy bear trickeration, just good old fashioned .30-06 Springfield. He views it as good mojo for when we play Baylor.

Good read.

I think Gross needs to be on the field as much as possible. He played really well as White's replacement last year, and he has a lot of experience. Hell, if he can't play at safety, I would consider putting him in at linebacker at times if Long is out for an extended period.

Agree on Gross. He was a bad ass last year. Him and Long were my fav two to watch on defense.
