Another example of Holgy embracing WVU. Saying he wants to schedule old local rivals because "fans remember great games of the past" and that it looks good. Also while taking digs at schools like Baylor who schedule complete cup cakes. I for one am all about it, generate some hype, let us get excited. We all remember last season after VT, those were a few BORING games after even with our defense getting sliced like cheese.

You're not going to like it when there are years we don't make it to a bowl game

Can't escape the inability for many/most true fans to afford the crazy ticket prices even with a cool schedule. They'll wanna come, but can't. Losing some of the WV luster with just elites able to attend. My two pennies.

Today is the last day of the dead period. Maybe we'll get some football news tomorrow to wake this board up!

Long and Askew-Henry were named to Bronco Nagurski watch List (nation's best defensive player), and Cajuste to the Outland watch list (top interior lineman).

But...Long was not on the Butkus watch list for top linebacker.

Just a couple problems with the fall flat article, I feel like Kennedy McCoy is pretty established as a good back, sure he might not be NFL material (yet, remember he hasn't had a huge work load as of this post), but he can burn through and get some good yards, and has good vision for his bursts. Petteway also in the game we burned his red shirt looked like he could be a weapon. He's right, Spavital has to call run plays, and mix them up more, but I'm pretty sure Holgy addressed that he wanted to change up the play calling a bit from last season, right? Not to mention with the new utilization of tight ends, it'll be easier for some of these draws to work after play action passes to Wesco and Jovanni.

Yes our special teams is awful, but I thought that Australian guy is joining up with us in a couple days or so? Angus Davies or whatever? Isn't he supposed to usurp Billy Kinney for that duty, if he's half as good as Texas' Aussie punter we'll be fine there.

I completely agree with the rest of the points though, tough schedule, questions at corner, and the injury bug derailing us would be very true.
