You can't make a Big XII omelette without breaking a few eggs along the way: lawsuit egg--broken, scheduling egg--broken. May have to chop up a few veggies too. Omelettes doen't make themselves.

Reported $1Mill JM buyout, and $1Mill in revenue for the HOME Marshall game. And we are still slated to play the 2013 game unless they buy us out. If Pitt and Cuse go to the ACC in 2013 they may need to buy us out to create room in there schedule. here is a good article explaining it

FSU could become a Big12 conference member, rumor is they as well as Clemson are on the clock to join the Big 12. I think the Big 12 will be going to 14 teams in the very near future.

I was looking forward to it too, but its not all about you. j/k...In all seriosness I am disappointed, but I understand the logistic and finance sense it makes to drop the one game compared to the other options. I live in Mobile Alabama, so it would have been the only game I could have went to fairly easily. But I would rather be in the Big 12 so I am not all that disappointed.

Anybody surprised that WVU canceled its upcoming football series with Florida State instead of buying out a game against Marshall? Not me. It's a no-brainer. There you have it...straight from the source. Suck Landon does not have a brain. Pretty soon WVU's legal bills are going to be more than Marshall's athletic budget. /rimshot WVU's laundry bills are more than MooU's athletic budget.

I think the 2013 OOC schedule will be W and M and ECU at home and MD on the road. Michigan State is probably off the board in 2014, but hey, we still get to play the Liberty Fightin' Jerry Falwells.

Weren't there allegedly a couple B12 schools that needed to fill spots on their schedule from already having TCU scheduled, and Mizzou and A&M leaving? I wonder if one of them has made arrangements to pick up this game? I mean any of those could be seen as a comparable team.
