I hate stuff like this, politicians need to stick to political issues. I am pretty sure that interracial marriage is not a big problem plauging our country. Also I think it is funny how most people who oppose interracial marriage only oppose black and white. There are many combinations of races but they dont seem to care if like say a Jewish man married a white woman. And I have studied the Bible a lot which is what they use to justify this and no where in the Bible does it say that interracial marriage is wrong. And if anybody thinks it does I would love for them to show me where. In fact Moses was married to a black woman and his sister Mirriam had a problem with it and she was talking trash about it and God struck her mute as a punishment. Sorry if the grammar or spelling is off I am typing on my phone

No idea what the onion is. My bad man I paid a little more attention to the things surrounding the article, so its obviously some type of humorous site. Just a sensitive subject and something that I hear and deal with a lot down here in the ol bible belt in NC.

The Onion is a satirical website. However, I had been under the impression that satire was funny. Clearly further study is needed.

WOW WVMAN, got to give you props for admitting you would vote for that religious zealot !! Once you admit your problem, that's the first step to recovery. Soon you'll be singing our " Socialist " tune, to quote a brilliant man whom I'm sure you hate " I hope some day you will join us, and the world will live as one ". Living in redneck, Virginia, I know a lot of people who like him, but fortunately for the couch, only 1 person has commented that they would vote for him ! I'm sure others are out there, gun and bible in hand !!

They are clearly there. So, you can't read and find them on your own? Not much of an intellectual elitist are you? You may have to turn in your card.

Why does someone with a gun and a bible scare you? Seriously.

That is one of the stupidest attempts at an insult I have ever seen.

Then give me some examples. It should be simple if the assertion is true.

No. This nation was founded by very religious people who understood the ramnifications of religious persecution, which is the reason many of them came here to begin with. Little did they realize that eventually religion itself would be under attack. I'm one Christian who doesn't believe that contraception is the anti-Christ, but I don't think the taxpayer should pay for it either. And I'm definitely not for government telling people or their Church to lower their moral standards so some college law student can have a good time. If we limit the exception to an actual medical condition that requires it, I can live with that. That's the argument isn't it? That contraceptives are prescibed for more than birth control? I say okay, then. Document the reason and provide the medication in those cases. That will still be a significant burden that the taxpayer isn't paying for. Percentage wise.

First off, the fact is that there is nothing about our founding fathers that exudes religious freedom. They did understand religious persecution but you had better not have stepped out of line with other religious views or you would have been imprisoned in some fashion. So don't tell me how benevolent those same religiously persecuted people were. They were more warped than the people they escaped which is probably a good reason they were persecuted in Europe (not necessarily a dearth of Christianity at the time). These people were fringe Taliban whack-jobs compared to mainstream Christians of their time.

Number 2. NO ONE IS SAYING THE GOVERNMENT has to provide contraceptives. It is saying that contraceptives have to be a part of the healthcare plan. The fact that the healthcare plans are THE SAME is what makes it UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE. If people do whatever the hell they want it won't be universal will it? My healthcare policy provides contraceptives (this by the way, reduces healthcare costs for everyone). If I move jobs, the law says I have a "right" (by law, not inalienable) to receive the same healthcare that I had before. I really don't understand the problem. This whole issue is a way to sink a very poorly thought out problem. I do not like the healthcare law. I would like to see a real healthcare law that really helped the people that need it but all we got was a stupid program.

With that said a comprehensive, universal healthcare program will need to provide contraceptives and abortions. If you don't like that is too bad. It is not like by buying a freaking insurance policy that you support all of the items that are covered. I am willing to bet that circumcisions will be covered too. I know a lot of people that are against it. You know what? Screw ém. If you don't want it don't use it.

Whatever happened to "keep the government out of the bedroom" republicans we all used to know? Now the only thing they want to talk about is removing rights, especially rights from bedroom activities, from people. And this gets people to vote for you how?

I remember a day (it was the last administration) that the 95 IQ leader said that the government had no business interfering with the relationship between doctor and patient. Why would the government telling people that option x or y is not available to you because we know better be acceptable to anyone?

Medical science is tricky. That's why we only let doctors practice medicine (or supervise those practicing medicine). I didn't know that a senator we threw out by 18% in 2006 knows more about the practice of medicine than my physician. I do know that Pennsylvania law schools do not teach medicine. Why does he, and others like him, think he knows better than your doctor?

Because those same doctors you talk about learned from science books that do not have stickers in them saying "Evolution is just a theory"

Heck I think some of those doctors are misguided enough to believe in evolution. See, as a lawyer he knows far more about biology than you or I.

I am ashamed to say I live in the same state as this whack job. If it comes to him and Obama....I may have to choke down the vomit and vote the idiot Obama. I hope it doesn't come to that.

Socialism has nothing to do with sex. THis tends to support the opinion that you tend to use that word without thinking about what it means.

Neo conservatism is tied closely to the faith in politics movement that currently tries to legislate religious opinions. Liberty is dying from assaults from both sides of the political spectrum.

OOOOOOHHHHH, edgy and witty. Good one. Full of satire. How long did it take you to come up with that one? With that BIG liberal brain, and all? Impressive.

Is it easier thinking yourself wise, when you think others stupid? You must be the tallest tiny person in the room. Congrats!!

Meh. This has gotten stupid.
