What a beautiful song, had to share with y'all. I can't wait to hear the Studio Version and purchase it. (Won't embed again).

I think I love this song, made me tear up a touch. I hope to get a hold of the written lyrics soon. Sadly, my northern panhandle ears struggle to make out every word that I'm dying to hear. I've been around this freakin' Pittsburghese yinzers all my life and it's taken a toll...

It's my understanding that Wyatt is working on a studio version that will be much clearer and available on iTunes.

Caveat - I am not a fan of country music:

I wish the kid nothing but luck. To me, it sounds like every other county ode that is out there...same chord structures, same tonality in the voice, same sorta sappy lyrics - cryptic enough for you to have to know, but easy enough to follow...honestly, I had to turn it off after about 90 seconds or so...but again, I am no fan of country music

Here ya go Tito...I think it's accurate. I just transposed it...

Your hair is as soft as moonlight shining on the Allegheny Pines
Her eyes shining like the starlight where the Greenbrier River winds.
Oh you got me reminiscing, to the place I’ve been missing and it eases my mind
You give me that feeling like I’m crossing that Mountain State line

Ohh because…
You’re Wild and Wonderful…like a breeze I’ve always known.
You’re my Country Road…ohh girl you take me home.
Ohh, with all that natural beauty…God took the time to put in ya…
It’s Almost Heaven in your arms…you remind me of West Virginia

I see us laying on a blanket out on a hillside
Gazing out on at the valley as the clouds roll by.
Got the warm summer air, breeze blowing in your hair
Oh there ain’t no doubt why…staring into your face, I’m in a Mountain State of mind.

You know you have to wonder why I always stare
But being here with you girl…feels just like I’m there.

Thanks Home, I'm not a country music fan at all but the lyrics and love of WV in the song over-ride everything!

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I appreciate the effort, I'll have it on my game day tailgate play list but he sounds like all those other guys out there that my wife listens to in the morning that gets me out of bed. Alarm clock? No some assnut named Luck Brian will get you up and out of there with no problem. I love country music but not the current stuff Nashville insists on slamming down my throat. I will keep giving Sirius my money.
