St. Johns, which earlier in the week snapped an 11-game losing streak to beat Duke, snapped an 11-game conference losing streak to defeat #1 Villanova at Villanova. They're now 12-13 (1-11).

Meanwhile, 2 more top 10 teams lose. Purdue and Auburn both lost as well. Is it really only still just the first part of February?

TBH, I'd put Virginia number 1 too. VTU is going to make tourney at this point. Villanova has much worse loss, and has lost a player from rotation with injury. MSU's only current ranked wins is vs. NC and Purdue at home.
