Sorry, sane. That's too specific of a detail. Strohs says you weren't there. Better luck next time.

Yeah, well, I came face-to-face with my ex-wife at that game. I was going up the steps to the concourse and she was coming down. It was so crowded we were both being pushed along by the masses.

Still too specific? Sorry.

Sills V and Mountaineer Offense Connecting Off The Field

Quote:
There are four new receivers in town right now with skill sets running the gamut, from speed guys such as Sam James and Randy Fields Jr. to big, physical, pass-catching targets such as Dillon Spalding and Bryce Wheaton.

All of them have mentors. Sills V is taking Spalding, a two-time Washington, D.C. All-Metro choice, under his wing, which is a great thing for Spalding.

You have no idea how excited I am to here that. As soon as I saw the 2018 WVU early signees video and saw Spalding I thought he looked like a faster David Sills.

Here is what I'm talking about. Start the video at the 5:32 mark. The kid looks like he has another gear.

most important game for each Top 25 team

Oklahoma is the only Big 12 opponent that West Virginia has yet to defeat since joining the conference. When the Sooners travel to Morgantown on Nov. 23, a trip to the Big 12 title game could be on the line. And, perhaps, even more.

19th. Depends on whether Grier stays healthy and how the defense does.

I agree, they've definitely got some skill position players returning. On the other hand, who's rated ahead of them that you'd move back? Saw a publication (sorry, don't remember where) that had them at 7-5 for the season.

I hate it when we get all this preseason love. It never ends well. We have to stop scheduling 2 power 5 non conference games. One is plenty.

Right, If Washington was able to make playoffs, playing only 1 power 5, that was Rutgers, why are we are going out of our way to play two, if we played only 8 conferences games, then yeah lets do two. The bottom line when we play two power 5 OOC, by the time we get to the meat of Big 12 schedule we have a ton of injuries and worn out players. We actually should do what Baylor did, till we actually start having a team that can finish higher than third in Big 12. We dont have the depth to play 11 Power 5 teams a year.

We are playing a competitive FCS team in Youngstown St. No reason in playing Tennessee and NC State. It's going to catch us with the gauntlet of playing 9 conference games. We need to stop it before it hurts us becoming bowl eligible in the future.

Bowl eligible ??? We need to be thinking CFP and want to be there every year. Alabama,Oklahoma,OSU, hell even most Longhorn fans arent talking about being BOWL eligible ,they`re all talking CFP,anything less is a participation trophy.

Haha, I like to be looking out of your rose colored glasses, since when have we even ever competed for a Big 12 title, let alone CFP, Baby steps my man, Baby steps my man. We are barely .500 in conference play.

I was never one to ever complain about being in Big East, so take me off that list. To me it was the easiest path to win a National title, look at our 2007 schedule, it was pretty weak yet we had legit shot at making National title game.

Hurt us? How? Our best finish was 3rd place in Big 12, We got smacked, embarassed by Oklahoma in our best year in Big 12, That's what hurt us!!!

Yeah, we are running with the Big Dogs, but we don't have depth, especially this season. Look at the roster, I'm just being honest. We have what 73 schollies? We don't need to be playing 11 Power 5 teams.
