I'd like to have seen someone pull a stunt like that when Bob Gibson was pitching. Or Don Drysdale. Or Nolan Ryan. They'd have carried him off the field in a body bag.

Homo? You are one sick dude if you have a sexual thought when a heavily muscled, sweating man is tying your arms around your neck.

This is great stuff!
And, it is not in the Soapbox ... so it can continue through game day. Carry on. PS - Riverdance IS > soccer. And, the soccer players can run around for 5 minutes until they get tired ... while the baseball players simply wait motionless (except for the opening and closing of their batting glove straps). Then its' 1 ... 2 ... 3 swings your OUT!

Baseball Players Actually Gain Calories During a Game
The study found that Major League players spend most of their games sitting, standing, spitting and adjusting their cups, none of which constitute what the NAHG classifies as “strenuous activity” that would burn calories at a higher rate. The study found that far smaller amounts of game time were spent doing more active things, such as walking, jogging lightly and running. During the 2010 regular season, NAHG found that starting position players spent an average 34 seconds of game time sprinting.

Holy ShPitt did this thread derail.
I enjoy Rich winning in Arizona for the simple fact it has to piss Michigan fans off even more. Rich has a freshman QB and a freshman RB along with a nasty well coached overachieving D. Last time he had all three if those ingredients UGA fans were crying like little bitches in the Georgia Dome. The PAC 12 is there's for the taking. USC and Stanford will give them fits because of size. Casteel has struggled vs power teams and UCLA is just a beast. But zona can hang with any of them.

I think you misspelled Type II Diabetes. Getting back on track, this Syracuse vs Louisville game is almost unwatchable. They have both gotten worse since joining the ACC.

Byu who many thought might be able to run the table and be the first non power 5 team to make a case for being in the playoffs is getting beat by 2 td's at half. And their star qb who was a dark horse Hiesman candidate suffered a serious leg/ankle injury and had to be carted off the field and was being x - rayed at half time.
UPDATE: The sideline reporter for the game just said Tayson Hill's x-ray came back positive for a "left leg fracture." But they aren't elaborating where the fracture is or how bad or how long he'll be out. That's a shame, he was really a lot of fun to watch and they could have really had a huge season this year.

I'm starting to think you just line up in a prevent defense every down against OkSt. I am pretty sure all they know how to do is run a streak route.

It is always comforting to know Pitt still sucks. The **** cats are down 24-3 to Virginia at the half.

topsy turvy day in college football. fun to see all the upsets. as long as there won't be 2 sec teams in the playoff, it's all fun.

Yeah that's the problem Saul. I'd rather Alabama or Auburn just blast through everyone and be the clear cut winner. The more they all lose to each other the better the chance that 2 1-loss sec team get in instead of 1 clear cut champion.

I was in Oxford yesterday and at the Bama-Ole Miss game. Neither of those two teams has much of an offense. Too bad out D is pretty weak against the run, the fact that a Blake Sims led team beat us sucks. Outside of Treadwell Ole Miss has nobody on offense. Both have good D's. the way I see the SEC playing out is that it is going to come down to Auburn and Miss St. I think Bama will lose at least once more, probably twice. I don't think Ole Miss can beat Auburn or Miss St, might have a let down next week and lose to aTm next week. I could see a 1-loss Miss State and an undefeated Auburn being considered for the playoff this year both out of the west. At least the SEC East is a clusterfuck this year again.

I hate how Zona beats Oregon and it means the Pac 12 isn't that good but Ole Miss beats Bama and it proves the SEC is even stronger. Just glad asshole coaches and the dumbass Harris poll voters that buy that crap have zero input into who's in now.
Miss State is the 3rd best team because they beat a crappy LSU team and Texas A&M. The Aggies were top five because they beat SC, who by the way was beat by Kentucky and Mizzu. Alabama beat us. That's it. That's their lone good win but it's the SEC. And because of that we have to be feed this bullsh''. TCU and Arizona have as much claim to the top four spots as anybody. The SEC is like a conference of Notre Dames from back in the 80s and 90s. They would suck each year under Faust but would be ranked top 10 the next year. And we all remember their special treatment each year in the 90s.
