I work with a UK fan and he is obnoxiously annoying. Listening to him talk about the basketball team leads you to believe they ride unicorns to games. Calapari invented the game long before Naismith. Rupp Arena was built on top of the lost city of Atlantis. Serioulsly, when he talks about the basketball team his feet levitate off the ground and he just floats around the office. He puts down WVU every chance he gets so he can start talking about UK.
Now, when I talk about football he beats his chest and talks about how great the SEC is. I will talk about how awful UK football has been and he will chant "SEC, SEC, SEC". Then he will continue with "We won how many national championships in a row???" Usually when I say "I didn't know the SEC was a team" he will respond by saying "UK basketball has 11 McDonalds All-Americans on the roster this year."
This is a revolving door that I can't escape. If the stars would align I see a possible way out. WVU would have to play UK in the tourney and win. I believe in karma and this is a strong possiblity.

Just the fact that Kentucky gets all the 5 star talent, yet doesn't bring home the title every single year is an indictment in itself. I'd rather be a fan of nothing than a fan of the Yankees, same thing applies here.

Iowa State is playing tough at Kansas, but so far it appears to be an unfair advantage for Kansas--8 on 5. The refs are favoring the Jayhawks in a big way.

How do you think they are gonna call against the press? My guess we have 5 players foul out. It will be like the Texas game. Whistles won't give us a chance to get in a rythm.

Only thing I can think of is WVU and 6 foot Joe frol Delaware playing center in the 1 3 1 & shutting down their all world center ( cant remember that goofy shits name) on the way to beating them in th NCAA tourney. Not much... but.

Yeah ISU is getting the short end of the calls in this game. Not like I would expect anything different but I foresee us getting about the same or worse calls.

I know KU is talented but I don't see a spectacular elite team but I doubt it will matter when the refs are calling the game in KU's favor like they are.

I'm noticing that Kansas has trouble with the pressure.

Duke games are officiated as if they are playing WVU every game. The amount of calls they get and the amount if calls not called on them is ridiculous. I mean come on

Syracuse bars men's team from post season -- for drug violations before 2012 that weren't treated properly.

OSU 65 Texas 63

Since January 5, Texas is 2-6. The only teams they have beaten are WVU and TCU. So WTF?

We need to beat these guys. Everybody else is.

KState fans showing off their class again. WTF is wrong with those people?

On Monday night Kansas State upset #9 Kansas in a great game in Bramlage Coliseum, and afterward the Kansas State fans stormed the court, like college kids sometimes do. The Wildcats fans weren’t out there just to celebrate, though. They mobbed the players and coaches of Kansas, trapping Bill Self against the scorer’s table. One student ran across the court and intentionally put his shoulder into Kansas forward Jamari Traylor. It was ugly.

This happened because everything good in this world will one day be ruined.

We are another ISU loss away from controlling our own destiny, which is likely to happen. They have to go to KSU (who just beat KU) and TCU (won 3 of their last 4) and get #16 OU at home (won 7 of their last 8).

It's exciting just to be in the mix at this point in the year.

First 8 mins of cuse and Virginia and Virginia hasn't scored and cuse has 6 points. Hahahaha. I think we could beat Virginia. Maybe like a 24-23 game. Lol
