Building a Class through JUCO players?

Dana is becoming the new Bill Snyder.

The Sills return came out of left field, but I am glad that he felt good enough about his experience that he could come back to Morgantown. He recognized when he left that he had a problem in his throwing motion that needed to get worked out, and it appears that he just has not been able to solve the hitch in his throwing motion. But I think the guy can be a VERY GOOD wide received. He's a talented athlete and is very smart. If he focuses on being a wide receiver, his ceiling will be very high.

I am pretty hyped about it. I was sorry to see him go. I think he can be a really good receiver and is a different type than what we have. I think he might excel once he is dedicated to WR.

I haven't read everything thoroughly about Sills return but how long do we have him for? I'm assuming 2 years. Had him his freshman year, JUCO counts as 1 so that would make him a Junior?

He could probably start immediately with Shorts leaving and Durants inconsistency. It'll also depend on how well White recovers from his injury. Also makes me wonder about Smothers and when we'll get to see him play.

Yeah I noticed that as well. Would be awesome to get him but if we don't slow down on recruiting defensive backs then it could sway his decision to go elsewhere. That's one thing I hate about recruiting is they sometimes rush on giving offers, even to JUCOs so they can address needs but those guys are more likely to accept offers first than ones who are being highly recruited.

Rutgers? Seriously?

Apparently Lamont Wade is having an announcement party this Saturday. There is a $3 cover charge.

I kid you not.

So if anyone who meets the broad definition of a booster pays to attend the party then it is an NCAA violation? Seems like the smart move for the long term.

Agreed....from the little that we saw from him at WR I was really impressed. He is a great athlete. He was also very effective in the red zone.

Anyone know how many years of eligibility he has left? I'm guessing 2.

Why am I thinking of Steve Largent, Seattle Seahawks, from days of yore?

Anyone have an Eersports Membership? It has a Lamont Wade article that has him narrowed down to two schools and i would be curious which two, but you can't read it without a membership...of course

I've heard it's us and PSU. And a lot of the PSU fans are feeling it is us because of a 4* cornerback committing to them this week. The Nittany Lions have a pair of cornerbacks committed now.

Nice to see jump from 52nd to 27th in Rivals recruiting site. Third in Big 12. Two things of note though, is Oklahoma has prob. got the best recruiting class since WVU joined Big 12. Ranked 3rd overall behind Alabama and Ohio State, usually they've ranked around 15th in previous years. Almost every recruit they have is 4 stars this year. Based on WVU's history of 4 star recruits, it seems of the ones that qualify half are ready to contribute from day one. Scary to think how good OU will be.

Baylor, in last with just one recruit. Crazy to think at one time Baylor's 2016 class was ranked 12th before everyone bolted and ended being ranked 55th when season started.
