Even though we lost all three starters on D-line, I'm feeling confident in the players now, and the depth. Obviously, I think the weak spot will be WR's vs. Virginia Tech(Especially with the CBs, and safties they have.) Only guy I'm 100% confident in is Ka'Ruan White, Durante would really add an element of security. Losing Gibson, at first didn't seem that huge with Simms out there, but he's out, and losing a guy like Shorts is big, I'm hopping Jennings can do it. Hopefully whoever takes Simms spot has speed and hands. I do likes Sills, and havent really seen anyone else, hopefully Maiden can replace Simms.

Simms maybe played sparingly in 3 maybe 4 games last year and had 1 TD , some people think we are hurting because he got suspended.......LOL

Does anyone have 2 extra tickets for this game on September 3 vs. Virginia Tech at Fed Ex Field? I am looking to spend about $100.00 or less per ticket, please PM me. Thank you.

The thing is, we have a lot of guys. But we dont know who, if anyone, will emerge as THE Guy. The more WRs you have with PT, the more likely someone will emerge as the go to guy. I like Sills, Jennings, and White. Durante looked overrated to me. Simms looked like just another body last year. I hope a guy like Ricky Rogers can take the opportunity and run with it. The guys looks like a physical specimen.

By your logic we could say Donahue played sparingly last season, therefore we won't be hurting if he say got suspended. Simms beat out all the other WR's for the starting spot, so yes obviously it would hurt since the guy that takes his spot vs Virginia Tech, was behind him. You also lose depth, especially with Durante gone too. So yeah LOL it hurts.

No one said Simm's was the Number 1 WR, but he did win the starting spot that Gibson left. I just dont understand your logic in thinking losing Simms doesn't hurt, especially with Durante gone. You need depth at WR, especially in Big 12.

No need to respond, it seems your the type that'll just keep going on and on making sardonic remarks with no facts to backup your mouth. We'll have to agree to disagree.

I predict that Bush will emerge as the 2nd Tavon! We have a really good QB that can thread the needle and because of that route running and good hands is the main thing that is needed; Jennings and Sills has those skills. We'll be fine!

Go sit in the corner and when you decide you can use a little COMMON SENSE you can come back out and play.

If Dana has proven anything, it's that there is no need to worry about the WR spot. Someone will step up.

Their pass defense is overrated, someone earlier dug deep into their numbers and they were skewed by some horrible teams and weather conditions in hurricanes. Pitt, Cuse, Miami and ECU lit them on fire and none of them have/had the skill at RB/QB/WR we do other than maybe Kaaya on a rare good day. We will light them up the Clark Griswold's house. I grow more confident by the day

Right, I think it'll be McKoy that will end up having a huge game with screens and short passess.

I have confidence if we're having matchup problems at WR that Holgy will mix and match and find the right combo.

I really don't consider this a rivalry anymore.

This is just an out-of-conference game that we have to win for ourselves and for the conference. And look GOOD doing it.

No different than BYU last year.
