Poor excuse 360° around the program.

The pundits were right, we're lucky to be a 50-50 team this year.

I NEVER, in 1,000 years, would have imagined us losing tonight.

I hate losing but that is probably the best defense we will face all year. The Big 12 is ours for the taking. I like what I saw out of Grier. Just a little work on those over the top passes and he is a complete player. Would have liked to have seen a little more out of our run game. I put that on Spavital and Holgs.

I hope yrr right re 'the best defense'. If so, it may turn out OK?

You and me both brother.

"Holgorsen just doesn't cut it for me."

Agree. Now that he doesn't call the plays he just stomps the sidelines like an angry fan. Swell.

We knew that was coming with the changes made on sideline conduct. Holgs was specifically singled out as one of the worst offenders. VTs coach also got hit but it wasn't as bad situationally.

No matter how you slice, this is a heartbreaking loss and one we should have gotten!!! Had 120 plus more yard than they did for the game!!! Special teams was terrible as they outclassed us and probably the biggest reason the win the game- punt team embarrassing AGAIN and kickoffs not even close!!! Guess we're lucky their fg team choked! No excuse to let a fresh qb beat you- takes me back to Vick and makes me want to throw up!!!!

My take always after 20 minutes to cool down:
Will Grier is good
WR corp is excellent
RB are good but we're underutilized
Tevin Bush is not Tavon Austin, but is gunna be good
McKoy is better than Crawford
OL is good
D-line will be good if healthy
LB will be good if healthy
Gibson is best coach on staff

The bad:
Secondary wasn't as good as I thought. Henry was a non-factor, and we will face better offenses. Not 2011/12 bad but better get better quick
The kickers and special teams are an absolute nightmare. I don't understand how we don't have a kicker who can put it thru the end zone, and punter who could start for Pittsburgh 6A football, or any semblance of a return game or kick coverage. How does this happen every **** year?

Here's what I know will happen, because it always does...best ISU, KU, Baylor, TCU, Texas, TT and our crap OOC opponents. Get up to 17-15 range for OSU and get torched by Rudolph, lose a tight one in Manhattan and get romped in Norman. Enter ranked 24th against TAMU in Liberty Bowl

Us and TAMU are made for each other. Always a heartbreak. We are destined to both be 8-4 every year and play the Liberty Bowl every year with the winner being given false hope for the next year. I love WVU but it's a damn merry-go-round of disappointment

600 yards of offense and 24 points. The red zone was better. Other than that same old WVU
