I was reading that Taylor Hill a linebacker from Michigan has left the team and is looking at enrolling at either West Virginia or Pitt in January? anybody have any other info about this? He looks pretty good he was a four star linebacker in last years recruiting class.

Where did you see this at Owen....can you link the article for us? This would be a huge boost to the defense especially if the kid never enrolled and would have immediate eligibility...we're in need of linebacking depth next year......

The last I heard with him was Pitt or Akron (yes Akron). I'll do some digging and see what I can find. I like him better as a safety than a linebacker. I'm not too sure about him at an elite level though. He does have some good speed though.
I personally would have this kid at running back. He has great vision and can lower the boom when necessary. With Devine and Austin I don't see that happening though.

pabst, are you thinking of Johnny Dingle? he was a transfer from Florida, and he didn't get drafted...I think he signed with the Chiefs as a free agent, and not sure if he's still on their practice squad or not. Now on the other hand, Ryan Mundy, a free safety, was a transfer from scum, and he got drafted by the Steelers.

According to Dingle's wikipedia page, he's a free agent again. But who can trust wikipedia?

Mundy thanks. Must remember to sober up before logging on

On November 11, Mundy was re-signed to the Steelers' practice squad.
