ONe of the posters on this the "foul mouthed fans"thread suggested the students stop being foul-mouthed and simply "get creative." While watching the Louisville game yesterday, i could tell the students had "gotten creative," but I couldn't understand what they were saying. Anyone know?

Me neither. Couldn't figure it out. I was thinking maybe it was the name of the lady that Pitino slept with... and as I was typing this.. guess what? I googled Pitino. First thing that came up... Karen Sypher. That was the chant.

They chanted "Eat S*** Pitt" at the end of the UL game! Already getting started.

I don't think chanting "Karen Sypher" qualifies as creative. If they really want to bother Pitino, they need to chant something like, "Your suit's ugly".

Our student section was very classy at the game. I mean, didn't you see their elegant attire? Class personified! I though the Karen Syphers chant was funny. Pitino didn't seem to like it much, though.

(And I thought our students were very well-behaved...until Huggs broke his end of the bargain. While I don't condone the foul language, I admit that I chuckled at how instantaneous the wirty dords started flying. They were poised and ready.)

The shirts had a blue and gold tux on the front and said "Stay Classy in Morgantown" on the back.

They were white T's with a blue and gold "suit" front. The epitome of class.

(I assumed this was in response to the SI article, but I could quite possibly be wrong.)

Hahahaha I was wondering what the white shirts were about. That's pretty awesome.

I couldn't tell what they were chanting either, but now it makes sense. They did that the whole game, and you could hear it.

No matter what is done, you can guarantee that the students will find some way to have the last say. Gotta love em.

it said on the backs keeping it classy since 1863 on the back. They were great... actually when they were chatning Karen Sypher, at one point Huggs pushed his hands down at them to quiet it down or stop chanting that.

Ahhhhhhhhh! Thanks for the info!! Hilarious and I DO think that was QUITE creative. I also got a big kick out of the "proper" attire. THAT was awesome. Totally awesome. Now, why doesn't SI write an article about THAT? Guess they don't like being the butt of a joke. Anyway, glad to hear the student section held their own. The coliseum certainly was loud enough, that's for sure. Again, thanks for the updates!

Last year's ND @ Motown game...."Luke's-a-fag-got!", and of course after Thoroughman and Harongody went to the ground, it got worse.
I love WVU.

I don't know who was saying that the crowd was weak at the game. But it certainly wasn't I'd say a 14,000+ showing of fans considering how horrible the roads were ( two - three hours before game Fairmont got pounded) I was already in Morgantown, but my dad told me coming from Buckhannon north I-79 that there were like 3 wrecks, so considering I understood why alot of seats were empty, an no offense to UL, but they weren't ranked and it was on tv. The students definately showed up, and were loud and proud and definately creative. I loved the shirts, someone had a sign but I couldn't read all of it, know it had like the mastercard thing said something then $175, then went on to something else they only turned it around for like 10 seconds.. wish I knew what it said would have been funny I bet.
