Was watching World Cup, Germany vs Argentina, and at the 31 minute mark, the camera showed Leonardo DiCaprio with a blue WVU hat with a huge "WV', I know this topic has been discussed, but I just thought it was cool, maby I will go see his new movie now.

I love it when Leo sports the flying WV. Alas, he has a collection of many dark hats. I was particularly disappointed to see him wearing a blue one with a big, maize-colored "M" on it. I know he's got a ton of them, but I like to believe that his favorite is the West Virginia one, since he wears it the most.

Leo DiCaprio is wearing the flying WV hat because supposedly his mother has a house in West Virginia. So that is the main reason he is sporting the hat, because his mother is living somewhere in WV so I believe he supports the state and his mother... But it was great to get that little bit of recognition at an international Futbol match, Thanks Leo you are making WVU a household name across the world..

I have tried to find any info on this house of his mother's, but cannot find anything.

He was seen recently wearing an Auburn hat. However, as I said earlier, he does seem to have an affinity for the flying WV.

He has also been seen wearing a Meat~chicken hat as well. Just saying.

Saw him and with a picture with his new flavor of the month (woman) in a people magazine fairly recently...either way its not a bad thing he is rocking a dub-vee hat around the world...
