Mike Leach! Honestly I have no idea. I guess it depends on who is available. Any one know of any big names who could be floating around?

Where is Mike Leach? Is he coaching anywhere? He seemed to be a great coach who used the ability of his players in a productive way. Despite whatever it was that he did I think we need to bring a proven winner to Morgantown. However, my ultimate pick would be JON GRUDEN.....I am sure he loves his announcing job, but I see him as a guy worth contacting

I don't care who it is but please someone other than Stew. It would be nice to pull a good coach from somewhere I just don't know who that would be. Maybe an OC from Alabama or Auburn you know a team that is actually winning games year in and out.

As discussed on another thread last week, there is no way you will pull the O/C from Bama or Auburn, both Top 10 programs, to come to WVU. I don't think you could offer up the head coaching job to either O/C to lure them out of SEC.

Maybe in the years right after RR left when we were a contender. But now that we have plunged into mediocrity once again we'll be lucky to get anyone good. Thanks Unky Stewie!

I think it's possible. Louisville was able to get Charlie Strong away from Florida. It just depends on the person, I mean WVU is traditionally a pretty respected team and has a good fan base, if someone wants a head coaching job I think WVU could look like a pretty good situation

It is ridiculous to think that an SEC coordinator would not accept the head coaching position at WVU because he wants to stay in the SEC. That decision is a no-brainer. I think you have been drinking too much of the SEC punch down there in Alabama.

Oh, I dunno. I'd think Stew actually is feeling pretty surly today.

He should feel embarrassed or maybe incompetent. Why would be feel surly - he didn't feel this way when he has his $$$ handed to him last night.

Lets clear this up. Maybe I wrote my point down wrong. It's not the point of being in the SEC. It's the point of being the O/C for a Top 10 program. Auburn O/C potentially part of a National Championship program. Bama O/C already part of a National Championship program and potentially another one this year if Bama wins out. My point is, I really don't believe WVU could financially package a deal to lure them away. Secondly, why would I leave a Top 10 program as the O/C to move to a program where the Big East is potentially going away? Sure, the O/C still has a job but rebuilding in the Big East is much different than rebuilding in the SEC. As for drinking the SEC Kool-Aid....hardly. But,...... I can see the reality of some things and then accept it.

Mike Leach please. Let him drop 40, 50, 60 on our opponents as he did at Texas Tech and keep Casteel.

Leach and Bob Huggins have the EXACT same personalities.

How many coaching threads can one make? Who will be our coach? Who do you want as our coach? Whats your short list? whats your top 5? For goodness sakes people pick a thread and use it, stop making new ones.
