Having tall linemen is advantageous because they generally have longer arms. The longer the arms the quicker a lineman can get his hands on a defender. Think about it like a jab in boxing. Staying low is important but you want your olinemen to keep the dlinemen at arms length so that the dlinemen can't grab them and throw them out of the way. Dlinemen can grab jerseys while olinemen cant

Congratulations, Biggs. You found ONE GUARD (believe I said left tackle) that retired 20 years ago! Look at Pittsburgh's linemen today. Why didn't you go back to the 40's? You probably could have found somebody 5'8". How long did you spend on that? Your time would be better spent working on reading comprehension.
