Yeah as bad as we lost to the best team in the country, we still lost by fewer points than Ohio State lost to an unranked team.....and they still have a shot to make the playoffs

i think there should only be 20 bowls-maximum, 7 win minimum(wins over non fbs teams don't count), and no bowls start until dec. 26.

keep the traditional bowls, and use their traditional name: rose, sugar, fiesta, cotton, orange, peach, gator, citrus, liberty, independence, tangerine, holiday, and hawaii/aloha; then rotate in and out bowls like: the motor city, las vegas, poinsettia, old insight.com, music city, continental tire, blue bonnet, and a few other of the older remaining bowls.

Great article, and 100% true. Need to recruit to WVU advantage. You run the offense like in 2015-2016, which matches better with the 3-3-5, next year, with Grier at the Helm, you will win 11 games.

Gosh, if you somehow can get legit CB's, next years team could actually have a chance of making final four.

Webb shows committing to VTU by the way, so hopefully an experienced tranfer CB becomes available. I think that is why we settled for Washington. Maybe Gibson can turn one of the safties into a Corner.

a comment in response to an article about the UT team in the Austin paper:

I don't think anyone predicted how impotent the new head coach would be on game days. What I would give to see a University of Texas Head Coach actually coach during a game and give the officials crap on poor penalties called. Dont want a Bo Palini or the nut job from WVU, but at least get pissed now and then and maybe get a call or two in your favor.

Derrick Pitts was cited with a gun on a high school campus over the weekend. Charges pending. Have a good week everyone!

Pitts Takes Gun to HS

Ignorance and innocent mistake? More to the story?

Anybody know this kid? Just trying to change the topic around here.

I understand if he is walking into the gym and someone sees it on his person, but how does a police officer ask him if he has a gun in his car unless he was waving it around or unless someone reported that he was up to something?

Could be other explanations, but this seems odd.

Christ, for what reason is this even remotely necessary?

It was in the parking lot not in the gym. According to the original article in the Charleston Gazette the cop said he smelled MJ and searched the car. There were no drugs but they found the gun and he was charged with having a concealed weapon by a person under the age of 21 on school property.
