Since the age of 19 I’ve always carried a gun in my car. Sucks he got busted. Unless he had bad intentions.

..but you are not a scholarship athlete at a D1 school, namely West Virginia University.

He's also not black. We don't want black kids walking around with handguns, their fathers haven't taught them gun safety.

Am I missing something? Are we expected to be top 10 next year?

The people who say “he (Pitts) is toast” I think are mistaken. It’s not like he robbed a store or even fired the weapon. It’s not even an issue he was carrying it’s just that it was on high school grounds. It was a dumb mistake but I don’t expect him to be “toast”. I think he’ll be okay as long as this is the end of it.

Also the way to early preseason Top 10 ranking I absolutely hate, honestly. But it’s hard to fly under the radar with a Heisman caliber QB with most his offense returning. Defense has a long ways to go even with returning experience and incoming talent but hey, Oklahoma made it in the playoffs with that defense so we may be okay.

Probably. We are supposed to be very good next year. We were well on our way to a top 15 finish this year and I think we’d have given OU a real game with Will. Next year should be a very good year even if the haters and anti-Dana crowd don’t want it to be

I guess the 3 game skid to end the season leaves me a bit jaded.

Actually it is a problem that he had the gun at all. In WV you cannot legally carry concealed until 21, unless you have a special permit. But from what the article said charges weren’t filed.
I doubt he’ll be punished any more than perhaps a short suspension.

Ah I see. Haven’t lived in WV for awhile so not too familiar with concealed carry laws there. But I think we’re in agreement he’ll get a slap on the wrist and (hopefully) learn from it.

Unfortunate for him, hope he finds a good home, think he has talent just never really put it together. Wish him the best, and all the luck down the road. Gotta deal with these things year in and year out.
