I was a huge Smallville fan. Don't judge me...

Thus, I am excited for the upcoming Arrow on the CW. I hope it lives up to the hype and provides a show to replace the void that the end of Smallville left.

How I met your mother

I have to say I can't stand Chuck Lorre shows. (Big bang theory and two and a half men)

I'm also a big Smallville fan. I have every season on DVD.

I also like the Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men. Some of my other likes are Dallas, Spartacus, and Anger Management. Not sold on Anger Management and the new Two and a Half Men but I'll give them another try.

Revolution is two shows in. Absolutely awesome. Has aspects that appeal to people of all different persuasions, for example, because electricity has stopped working (or more accurately, has been disrupted) civilzation has collapsed. 15 years has gone by and militia leaders rule (similar to kingdoms). The United States flag is banned, guns are seized, anyone not a militia soldier having a gun is a death sentence.

The quest is trying to find the secret of a technology that ends the disruption and lets power work again. Lots of sword fights, cross bows, revolution against armed militia dictators, interesting backgrounds of scenes where everything has come to a stop 15 years ago, living like 1800's now.

Highly recommended.

Shows I'm watching:

Revenge
Scandal
Mad Men
Dallas
The Client List
Revolution
Spartacus
Suits
Political Animals
LA Complex
The Exes
Retired at 35

The only other new show that jumps out at me that I'm pretty sure I'll like is Last Resort.

I suppose that's where it started to lose its appeal for me, but that's the direction the show was headed from the beginning.

What gets me is the fact they only talk about ONE alternate universe...seems "unrealistic" for them to delve into the ideas of alternate universes, then to limit it to only 2. I'm hoping they open up the plot this season to reveal much more.

I just hate it when shows I like start to fizzle....like House did, but at least they gave House a proper ending.

The alternative is Sliders.

Good Arturo, bad Arturo......fat Arturo.

I liked sliders too.

We watch spartacus too. I guess I consider it a Winter television show since it never comes out until January it seems.
