Maybe we can keep a central thread for news and articles of former WVU players currently on NFL rosters.

So todays contribution is from St. Loius with an article on Tavon Austin that also highlights what Stedman Bailey has looked like so far at camp.

Highlights from the article

Sure, Austin is fun to watch. But don't sleep on Stedman Bailey. He had the best catch of the day, reaching back with a corner smothering him to grab a deep ball and the break free of his man.

First day of STL Rams camp, and the best two players were former #WVU receivers Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey

Nice article on Bruce Irvin: Beast Mode

Bruce Irvin led all NFL rookies with eight sacks as a rush-end last season. This year, the Seahawks are using him at strong-side linebacker as well, and Irvin is making plays regardless of where he’s playing.

He also ran a kickoff out of the end zone - 9 yards deep inside the end zone - even though the other guy told him not to. That is correctable...

Wait! What?

You mean the Steelers threw the ball past the line of scrimmage?

Rams third-round WR Stedman Bailey has been putting together a "long line" of strong practices over the past couple of weeks.
Bailey has reportedly "essentially been perfect" in one-on-one drills and continues to "catch everything thrown his way" in team drills as he's been "having his way" with the Rams' backup corners. He hasn't seen many -- if any -- reps with the first-team offense this summer, but the Rams might need to give him a look. Austin Pettis showed nothing in the preseason opener -- his lone target resulted in a drop, while Brian Quick has seen his ups and downs. Bailey has strong, reliable hands, and he's nails in the red zone despite his smaller frame. Aug 12 - 9:25 PM

I loved to see J T Thomas block a punt last night against the Chargers. Go J Tee.

I know it's not the NFL...but here's Devine's 2012 highlights with the Alouettes.

Can you imagine what Holgorsen could have done with Tavon, Devine, Sanders and Baliey on the same team?

Tavon Austin just returned a punt 81 yards to set up a Rams TD. It was a thing of beauty.
