St. Johns, which earlier in the week snapped an 11-game losing streak to beat Duke, snapped an 11-game conference losing streak to defeat #1 Villanova at Villanova. They're now 12-13 (1-11).

You just can't explain games like this, whoever had them in Vegas made a boatload.

Meanwhile, 2 more top 10 teams lose. Purdue and Auburn both lost as well. Is it really only still just the first part of February?

Virginia loses AT HOME to Va. Tech and still climbs to No. 1. Anybody wonder why the polls are meaningless?

Amen, perhaps it is not right but the ACC gets the benefit of the doubt. Sane sheet just a season later!

There are only a few two-loss teams. Who do you think should be ranked above them?

TBH, I'd put Virginia number 1 too. VTU is going to make tourney at this point. Villanova has much worse loss, and has lost a player from rotation with injury. MSU's only current ranked wins is vs. NC and Purdue at home.

So tonight for some reason I find myself being a Trea Young fan. Unfortunately he has only scored 4 in the first half. The stat that is outstanding is OU has 4 vs Kansas with 7. Seems this crew is letting them play since OU is no longer a threat. Regardless of what anyone to the contrary says, it is extremely unusual for the foul disparity in our game vs Kansas. One reporter on XM college sports went as far as to say that WVU was cheated. I agree. Those officials should be reviewed and penalized.

Tech can pull back to even if they beat Kansas at Tech on Saturday. then, they'll have to beat us in Morgantown on Monday to stay even. They finish with TCU.

Kansas finishes with Texas and at OSU.

I'm not surprised TTU blew it. IF they can beat Kansas on Saturday and IF they won out (including beating WVu) and Kansas wins out after this weekend then they would share the title. I don't see a way Kansas doesn't at least share the regular season title, but I'm sue they'll win it outright, which means absolutely diddily to us but we will have to hear about it until the end of time.

TTU, Texas and Okie St are all good enough to beat Kansas on their own but we all know what happens when Kansas' precious "streak" is on the line.

Bottom line is WVU and TTU were both in a good position to shut ESPN up and both blew it. The most painful thing for us as fans is that WVU didn't even need to beat Kansas to do it. The dropped games to TTU and Okie St really doomed WVU.

I believe they were 1 for 22 from the field in that half.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I don't like seeing Pitt THIS bad. I do however like what the ACC picked up in their raid on the BE. Dickson held things together when he was there but I figure they'll be coach shopping in the off season. They are worse than horrible, just pathetic.

ESPNU just falsely reported Sean Miller was fired. Probably won't be long until it happens. The whole FBI story is going to get ugly.

Maybe his "agent" has made the right connections to keep him in the conversation to stoke his draft stock. Seems like that's the way it works these days.
