It reminds me a lot of Allen Iverson. A great individual player that makes teams worse.

He made 35% of his shots last night, was 2-11 from three, had 8 turnovers and only five assists, and his team got its doors blown off.

This is not how I define greatness.

I don't watch a lot of college basketball--usually just WVU games. I have seen both WVU games against OU and watched some of the OU - Baylor game last night (with the hope it would put me to sleep). In those three games I just haven't seen what all the fuss is about. Some players you can just tell they are superior even when they are having an off night. Even that Melo kid from Maryland that Nathan Adrian knocked out looked better even though WVU had him tied up before he was concussed.

I completely agree. I think this is an example of a kid that I am sure was unbelievable at the high school level but I just don't see it at the college level.

Maybe he will turn into something later in college. Right now he is just a spastic kid.

I think he leads the country in scoring and assists. Not 100% on that.

I’d rather have Jevon Carter on my team.

I have no idea.

That big haired kid from Kansas, Graham, is the best player in the league IMO, followed by JC.

I like Graham and the Evans guy from Tech. Throw in Bamba, Carter and either Williams from TCU or Carroll from OSU and I'd win a few games.

Young was 7 for 21 tonight with 4 turnovers and only 5 assists. Don't need him on my team.

This is something Ive been thinking about for months. Sure Young is a great player scoring many points per came, not recently of course, but how many possessions has he lost for OK to make shots when he takes between 20-40 each night. OK is not equipped to rebound like some teams to increase possessions. LaMelo and these types of guys that chuck it up from 40ft all night long just hurt the team unless they are all going in.

That was rather prophetic.

Can't keep coaches, can't keep players. Jamie Dixon is laughing his TCU ass off.
