My daughter just received a letter from WVU. She got accepted. I am making her reserve her user name as WVUGRAD21.

Just tell her she can do 22 or 23 but it's on her dime after 4 years. That worked wonders with my three.

And, Congratulations!

It's really working out for her. She just received a partial scholarship. I know this sounds like Facebook. Honestly I don't brag, but I had to share this wonderful news.

I'm so very happy for her. Make her invest in herself. Great payoffs.

Hello. Tomorrow we are doing a campus tour. She is nervous. University of Kentucky and several other colleges has also accepted her.

My daughter was nervous too. My daughter was REALLY impressed with the student ambassadors. They really care about the university and they go out of their way to make the perspective student feel wanted.

Congrats and tell her to relax. No one in Morgantown bites. ;)

EDIT: I just received my letter from E. Gordon Gee welcoming me into the Mountaineer parents group.

Been on that tour with two of my three kids roughly 10 years ago. I had been back to my alma mater many times but on that tour.. Oh the flashback of fun memories that I kept to myself as those high school seniors and parents stared at the sights.

I've only been on that tour with my youngest out of the 3 that went. There are so many new areas and buildings to learn about -- along with the past memories. 😇

The tour was incredible. My daughter loved it. I want to give WVU cudos for how much they have improved the university since I went there. The place has improved so much.
