Eye ball test at this point for me would look something like this:
1)Kansas (yes I know we beat them, Jackson is the best player in the country plus they have Graham and Frank still)

2) Baylor

3) Gonzaga (not really sold on them, they don't play anyone)

4) Arizona

5) Virginia

6)Nova(still living off last year, clearly not as good)

7) WVU

8) Louisville

9) North Carolina

10) Kentucky, Florida State, UCLA, Butler and maybe like 5 other teams take your pick.

if we hadn't took last week off, we'd be #1. we've beaten virginia, kansas, and baylor.

There's no clear cut #1 to me. You can make the case for 6 or 7 teams to be ranked first.

We jump back to our ceiling lol. Hopefully we don't **** our pants this week and take care of business. There's no reason why we can't have a 1 seed by the end of the year.

7 to 18 to 7 in the span of 2 weeks.

What a wild ride.

Very strange. Number 7 in the AP and number 12 in the Coaches Poll. I actually feel better about number 12 than number 7, because we all know how well we have done with a number 7 ranking this year.

Tomorrow will be interesting. Will we show up and take care of business? Or do they give us heart attacks after blowing a 20 point lead? Do we even get a huge lead?

So far when we get in the top 10 it seems to go to the players head and they believe they don't have to prepare and play hard. Iowa State is quite capable of beating us in Ames if we don't give an all out effort for forty minutes.

WVU is a 2 point favorite in most places.

We've proven that we can beat any team in the country. We've also proven that we can get beat by any team in the country. I don't care how the regular season plays out as long as the team that can beat anyone shows up for the tournament.

It also pisses me off that Oklahoma is 0-3 since beating us. That loss was inexcusable. 15 point lead at home in the 2nd half and you lose to a then 7-9 team. Fucking hell

Iowa State basically has some very good guards, in fact there back court is deeper than WVU's. They have literally no big man though, they play two 6'8 forwards who are not that good, one a transfer and the other a freshman. Hopefully coaching staff prepares best way to play to take advantage of this. I would think you would prob not press as much.

0-4 now. OU just lost to OSU. The WVU loss to OU is confounding.

All of our losses are confounding. Not a damned one of those teams should have beaten us. I almost can excuse the Temple game since we did it on ridiculously short rest, but then again, they had short rest too, and since that game Temple had really sucked balls.
