Always surprised some teams don't take a chance on some of these guys

He needs to the junior college route then WVU would look his way. Ala - Skylar Howard.

That was an absolutely amazing read. I have a feeling we'll be seeing this guy on Season 3 of Last Chance U and figure out that he ends up going to LSU and becoming the next Jamarcus Russell. Write it down. But, I seriously am pulling for this kid, seems like he has a great head on his shoulders, and 50+ TDs and 2 INTs is impressive no matter what the competition is.

Devil's advocate ... he had dominant wide receivers and couldn't help but throw receptions and TDs. The 6'-4" kid had 24 TDs and I bet he dominated ever DB he went up against.

See Johnny Manziel with Mike Evans at A&M. Evans was responsible for 80% of Manziel's success.

My only question is how well does he move. He is a younger Cam Newton...but that comparison fails if he is slow and clumsy.

We took advantage of kids not being the "prototype QB" to get Pat White. Hopefully it works out for this kid. He's really not doing too badly already. He's a black kid from a small town in Georgia who already holds offers from Southern and Grambling. There are a ton of kids who'd kill to be in his position.

Lane signed a letter of intent with Arizona. Apparently, RRod is having troubles finding/keeping quarterbacks.

Quote:
When Braxton Burmeister flipped from Arizona to Oregon late in the 2017 recruiting process, the Wildcats lost a key component of its incoming recruiting class. Without Burmeister coming in at quarterback, the Wildcats would be left with just returners Brandon Dawkins, Khalil Tate and incoming freshman Rhett Rodriguez at the position just one season after the Wildcats, at times, were down to the third- and fourth-string quarterbacks.

And yes, Rhett Rodriguez is RRod's son. He was a three start dual threat QB.

Not that this kid is Pat White but we all know what RR can do with an overlooked QB. Could this be the player that saves Rod's job?
