Does anyone know if Logan has any scholarship offers yet? For a sophomore he throws a nice ball.

Not yet. Rivals and 247 have him listed as having interest from WVU, Purdue, Toledo and Nevada.

If he doesn't end up a Mountaineer, I wouldn't be shocked to see him end up in Nevada. The current OC there is Matt Mumme, the son of air raid guru Hal Mumme. Hal was Dana's coach at Iowa Wesleyan.

We got him!

Sam James is going to be a big addition to the offense. The Georgia receiver also had offers from Maryland, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, South Carolina and Wake Forest.

Watching his highlights, it is easy to see he is going to fit right in. This receiver class is going to be a good one.

Rivals
247

EDIT: I found some stats on MaxPreps and apparently he had 917 receiving yards with 8 touchdowns last season. He averaged more than 21 yards per catch as a sophomore and junior.

Sam James, Jr. (Richmond Hill, GA) picks the Mountaineers! He is a 3-star receiver prospect, and the decision was down to WVU, Mississippi State, Maryland and Cincinnati.

I am super stoked about this recruiting class so far. I just hope those that have committed so far stay committed for the long haul. I'd love to see us land some solid o-line recruits.

A good read over on Scout about the current commits recruiting other targets for WVU.

I love to see this from a group. Reading some of these quotes makes me excited to see this class in Morgantown. They love WVU.

I also like hearing that they are targeting two linemen from Georgia in Junior Uzebu and Josh Ezeudu. Those guys both have solid offer sheets and have some awesome size.

They also mention quarterback Woodrow Lowe. He is set to commit on Tuesday, and I would be shocked if he isn't a Mountaineer. His other big offers are Illinois and UNC. The Tar Heels have two quarterbacks committed already.

Awesome! I thought Lowe looked solid in his videos. He is more of a dual threat guy. He is a tall guy with a strong arm that has good wheels. I think he would be a good addition to this class.

West Virginia has found their quarterback for the Class of 2018: Bolivar (TN) Central signal caller Woodrow Lowe committed to West Virginia today, choosing the Mountaineers over offers from Illinois, North Carolina, and more.

Lowe was a relative unknown on the West Virginia recruiting board until late in the spring. At that time, offensive coordinator Jake Spavital went to see him in person and came away enthralled with the talented dual-threat quarterback. The Mountaineers offered on the spot, and it was a legit offer - one that Lowe could have committed to at any time. He quickly became the top target for West Virginia at the position.

Lowe's grandfather is in the College Football Hall of Fame after three All-American years as a linebacker at Alabama (and a dozen years in the NFL). His father is a former player, too, who now coaches the high school team that his son leads.

I wouldn't be shocked if he is just transferring to a boarding/private school where he might get more eyes on him playing football during his final two years of high school. Athletes do it all the time; places like the IMG Academy in Florida an Bishop Gorman in Nevada are just football factories.

With how much his old man makes, he can likely go anywhere in the country.

So, it sounds like the writing is on the wall that he won't be donning the Old Gold and Blue.

A special teams player from my old high school also committed to WVU today. Colton McGhee, Bishop Guilfoyle HS, Altoona, PA. A good field goal kicker for a high school player.
