Meh, can't believe Snopes...bunch of liberals run that site.

J/k, good catch. I never fact checked it...mostly because it wouldn't be the most outrageous thing he's said.

Way to keep your eye on the ball. If there is a group that this conservative dirtbag's actions reflects poorly on, it's liberals...

Sorry but, his actions are no different than Slick Willy Clinton's.

Whose actions are no different that Slick Willy's??? O'Reilly's???

You have got to be kidding me! What an idiotic statement.

We KNOW that Willy's admitted actions actually happened.

He DID have sex with an intern in the Oval Office. He DID lie about it under oath. He DID lose his law license. She DID produce a semen stained dress.

All we know about O'Reilly is that there were accusations and Fox News made business decisions to pay off the women rather than go through litigation. That's IT.

While I applaud your conscientious look at this issue, I would like to point out that your response is to discriminate against women on the basis of their sex. It is overkill. How about just be decent during the meal?

Being decent could mean complementing a person - that there can get you in trouble, No?

FWIW 83 - I agree with you, better safe than sorry. But 88 has a point too.

This whole thing of sexual harassment is just plain stupid. I guess I am old school and if something is nice you say it with no sexual innuendo or intent. As I see it to many people are to damn sensitive.

I agree with all the above. The way that I deal with it is to never have one-on-one lunch meetings. Always bring a witness and frickin behave yourself = no problemo.

Hey now, you're being unfair in that comparison. President Clinton sweet talks 'em first. None of that grab 'em by the **** bush-league crap.

Crossfire was my favorite show for a long time. I thought that Tucker often bested Paul Begala but it was great to see the two sides confront each other daily yet still remain cordial.

Jon Stewart thought he was doing us a favor by shitting on that show. He actually made it worse. Direct debate ended and each side just started preaching to their respective choirs.

I'm not sure that qualifies as discrimination, omission perhaps.

If it's discrimination it is not intended to be. Purely self preservation in a litigious society. In my business one's reputation is everything. It would only take one dumb comment, or one false accusation, and my entire career could be down the drain. So I steer clear. If we go in a group then everyone is welcome, but no one on one entertaining with the ladies.

Integrity? Not even close.

They paid $13 million to settle several accusations over the years and only fired him when advertisers no longer wanted to be associated with his show. The network didn't care what he did as long as the money kept flowing.

Key word: accusations.

Exactly. We should just ignore things that indicate a possible pattern of behavior...just like we did with Bill Cosby.

As your counsel, I need to inform you that you are, in fact, admitting to intentional discrimination. You cannot say "I intend to treat people differently because of their race, sex, religion, age, national origin, disability, or military status" on the one hand, and claim it is not intended to be discrimination. It cannot be anything else.

Your response is a severe overreaction to a concern that, while valid, is highly unlikely to occur. You are literally engaging in actual discrimination based on sex in order to avoid a bogus charge of discrimination based on sex. There is a wealth of information of ways to protect yourself and not discriminate against women. Google it.
