Our they more talented than us? I doubt it. Yet they still have beaten us most of the time. We have yet to run the ball convincingly on a 4 man front so Grier better have another 300 yard game to keep us in it. Our D is thin and they will just pound the ball and have QB runs like VT. We played like crap the last time it rained with a good many dropped balls by Sills and Co. Our 4 receivers have to be gassed too so I hope we can burn their secondary and squeeze out a win.

WVU is 2 - 5 vs. KSU all time. This KSU team has a "pulse" has a great Head Coach, a new starting QB, uses their TE to perfection and numerous other factors that usually don't add up to a WVU road victory. Earlier this season, I predicted KSU would win this game BUT Vegas opened the point spread with KSU minus ONLY 1.5 points in Manhattan and that is too low. ONLY 1.5 points???? The point spread is currently KSU - 2.5 points due to heavy betting on KSU. Not so fast my friends...........I now predict WVU wins this game.

I don't really know how to feel, I'm hoping we get some of our defense back in practice this week, and good to go for Saturday, especially Toyus Avery, need all the secondary help we can get. I think we're better talent wise, but Synder just knows how to beat us, and even though we got them last year, playing in Manhattan is always intimidating. I'm sure Grier will be sharp as usual, just need to see if a depleted defense can hold up, and if our run blocking can create some holes for Crawford.

We are BOWL eligible and 6-3 in a rebuild year so any wins from here on out is awesome....Just hope we dont have to rebuild the QBs and WRs next year.

I'm sorry, but anything less than a 9 win season isn't awesome. 8 at the least. Just my opinion though.

Preseason, I thought 9-10 wins , thinking offense would be run like 2015-2016 seasons, had concerns about Spatival hiring, and rightly so. ISU showed promise of reverting back to that style of offense, If we started out season with that offensive style, I feel we'd be at least 7-2 right now. OSU would prob. still be loss, but TCU and VTU at least one of those would of been wins. After 1st game loss to VTU, I revised down wins to 7, since it seemed like Spatival would be in full implementation of Air Raid.
Right now I'm satisfied with 7-5 and hopefully a Bowl win. Though it's plausible like everyone knows, where team could go 8-4 or 6-6. The later record, Especially if it starts raining in Manhattan and Spatival is still insistent on throwing long passes like in OSU game.

Hope I’m wrong but not feeling too good about this game.

K State won’t play a 3 Man front so I doubt we run the ball effectively. If we do we can win. If not, it’s going to be another close loss.

Bad weather does not favor us.

And undisciplined teams usually lose to disciplined teams.

Guess which one we are.

I agree that we should hit 8, but this season in the Big 12 has been a bit of a head scratcher, a lot of teams are not who we thought they were. Kansas State is disciplined, the weather conditions don't favor us, but I still think we have the roster to win this game. Hopefully Spav utilizes some short slants, and what not, rather than Grier bombing the ball down the field 50 yards all the time. I'd love to see us chip away and keep the offense on the field a little longer with a depleted defense.

When we started the season my prediction was 8-4 or 7-5 given how much we lost from the prior year and not knowing if Grier would live up to the hype (he has). I agree given how thin we are at some positions and how the o-line is rebuilt and so on. K-State and Texas are winnable games for us and 8-4 would be a strong finish.

Yeah, chilly with showers is the forecast. If we can't get our running game going we are going to find it difficult to pull out a win but we'll see.
