Just wondering if university has no say in kickoff times with conference.
5 out of 6 home games with a noon kickoff is unacceptable for this program. Even Baylor got us at night and they are a bad team.

It is my understanding that the networks have the entire say.

Baylor WVU got booted to Fox Sports 2! What do you think they were planning? Oh let's take our #1 or #2 matchup and slot it with the 7th game of the ALCS? We were at 7:00 PM BECAUSE we were the suckiest matchup of the day.

If you are FOX you don't want to siphon off viewership from a game you paid tens of millions of dollars to broadcast.

Do you guys even think about these things before you post?

On the other side, the 12:00 game for TV is a good key. Get loyal viewership at noon and then they are less likely to switch the channel for the 3:30 game. This is TV at its best. Put you best show on in the evening at 8:00 and at 10:00 and people won't switch channels in between. You could put live coverage of traffic on I-79 in between....with commercials of course. This is TV 101, people are lazy even given a clicker.

How many night games have we had since the downtown riot after the 2014 baylor game? I kinda thought that was the reason we haven't had any night games.

That Baylor game wasn't a night game. We actually had a night game that year after the Baylor game, against Kansas State. It's been since 2001 that Milan Puskar Stadium didn't host a night game. :/
