Texas, now prob finishes ahead of us. They play TTU next and should win. That means they finish 5-4, and we will prob lose to OU and finish 5-4. Now if ISU wins today and next week vs. KSU, then we could go as low 6th place, and as high as 4th place if both Texas and ISU lose. I see us having decent chances of getting 5th place.

I see 6th place, now if OU wins out, beating TCU in Championship, then hopefully, Big 12 gets three, in the main bowls. 4th would be Alamo, and prob. Texas, then hopefully WVU gets next with Camping World Bowl same as last year(Russel Athletic) Would be fun to get Virginia Tech again.

I’d love another crack at the Hokies, but only with grier. I’d rather us not face NCSU as we play them next year and we will likely return most of our relent, no need to put something on film against them, a team that we will be talented than having to face them on the road in 2018

Well, since OSU, lost, it looks like we prob drop down to Cactus. Maybe we play Arizona, to make it interesting.

If we’re going to be in a sh!t bowl, let’s play AZ. I’d rather have a storyline against an old coach than play some mid- tier boring ACC team.

Heck no! No way do I want to face AZ with their dual threat QB. Our defense does not match up well at all against their offense.

I really don't care about the matchups or getting embarassed, I want to see Dana go up against Richrod. Let's see whose style of football and who's program is better. This is officially Dana's players and team after 6 years, same with RichRod this is his team. So no excuses.

Well, we offically will finish in 5th place.
OU, prob. makes playoffs
TCU hopefully gets at New Year 6 bowl.
OSU would go to Alamo.
Texas to Russell
WVU to Texas
now technically they can choose whichever team they want, not how Big 12 finishes.

Yup I agree, let's see what we are made of, let's see what Dana can do for us.

Grier will not play in the bowl game, so we are severely limited on offense and with the nonexistent defense that we witnessed today, I predict another loss regardless of who the opponent happens to be.

I will watch the bowl game if I am not doing anything else. But if I see ANY trash talking I will turn it off immediately. I have better things to do than watch us turn into the "old" Baylor. I am DONE with this bullshit.

I’m sure the whole athletic department is really concerned about this. Come on, trash talk is and always will be part of football. Our guys have always talked, as do most guys on most teams. Maybe you should become a ND or BYU fan if you like your players to kneel down and hand the ball to a red after a TD. It’s entertainment, and they entertain the hell out of me when they get into the extracurricular stuff

To go even further, it offends you that our defensive players were jawing with other players, yet you are proudly part of a fan base that threw coins at the Pitt coaching staff in basketball, that threw urine on Miami players, and batteries at multiple players on multiple teams (many many stories about it from opposing players, too many to be false). Not to say you did any of those things, but we sure love to embrace Morgantown being a nightmare for visiting teams, where do you think that comes from? The train whistle every school in America uses on 3rd down? No it’s from violent and hostile fans. So if you’re ok with that, or even overlook that while not participating, yet are offended by kids jawing between the lines, wow you sir are quite the snowflake

Oklahoma has more thugs than WVU - should we go over Oklahoma's list from last year? And maybe the players said to Baker, "You stay quiet and we will speak and act for you."...

This is just this year:

I have never been proud of loutish fan behavior. Loud, creatively insulting fan behavior, yes, but the idea of throwing things at players and mistreating opposing fans has always been unconscionable to me and most. I have no issue with the rest of your post, but why do you assume people are proud of that behavior. It makes me cringe.

I think the fanbase has grown up some since we joined the Big 12. Turning point, I think, was when we hosted GameDay and LSU. Fans now seem to be able to differentiate between creating an intimidating environment for opposing players and being hospitable to opponents' visiting fans. We WANT them to come back and spend their money here.

I’m saying that many people here and in our fan base are proud of behavior like that. Especially the coin toss incident in the hoops game...the lengths people were going to defend it we’re preposterous. I get disgusted by that behavior, as do most of us I believe. What I’m simply saying is that many of us embrace being a rough and tumble fan base yet threaten to not watch over jawing between the lines. Just seems to not jive to me
