Who are possible opponents?? I see VT and Okie State are in a bowl together, and Texas and Mizzou in one together.

Chalk me up as extremely disappointed. We were passed over for two other bowls by teams in our conference with the same conference record. We also beat those two teams.

If Grier was def playing we would have gotten a better selection. Offense isn’t as fun to watch without him.

Bowl location.- well that sucks
Bowl time- that really sucks
Bowl opponent- could care less would have rather had a dozen other possibl teams.

Looks like it’s time to start looking to next year

Not the best bowl, but I’m glad we’re playing Utah rather than some of the schools we were projected to play - Memphis, UT San Antonio, Middle Tennessee, etc.

At 7-5 we really didn’t deserve much better.

Saw this post. Rather funny...

"You can always count on Dana for a bowl game that doesn't interfere with your New Years plans."

Yeah, I guess that quote is technically correct but whomever said it is kind of splitting hairs since the Orange bowl was on Jan. 4th 2012 so that didn't interfere with NYD plans either.

Is Chugs going to be our QB? I hope so. No sense in pushing Grier into a 'who cares' game where he could get hurt again.

Can't we just say we are playing in the Cotton Bowl? Sounds so much better...

We need to win and win big. Get the hype going for next year. Grier one series should be of nothing but those that are coming back.

We are't playing in the the Cotton Bowl. We are playing at the Cotton Bowl, in Dallas. OSU and USC are playing in he "Cotton Bowl", which is at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Its kind of fucked up isn't it?

Actually we have played Utah before and in addition to getting our keisters handed to us by them there are a couple of interesting "firsts" we collectively experienced.

WVU and Utah played in the first ever Liberty Bowl.

Our game with Utah was played in Atlantic City and it was the first college football game to be played indoors. It was played on a field that was only 90 yards long. Midfield was the 45.

I think it is also the first college game televised locally in the Atlantic City area. Here is a little article with a picture of the bowl.
